What do you want to imply? That Titanfall didn't boost hardware sales?

Yep, and you get to support MS by either upgrading or purchasing Win 10. As far as MS is concerned you staying on their platform is a win for them. Its something people really nothing thinking about. No matter how you look at it, you stay in MS eco system which is definitely more important to MS as an organization then the petty concept of console exclusive. MS is taking the approach and vision of platform exclusive. Keep customers on their services and platform thus making them dependent on those services and the platform.
The X1 losing Fable Legends as a exclusive to the PC is really only meaningful to people that play the fanboy wars.
so in short words ,no poin to get a xbox one anymore wen u can play their games on pc and better.. let teell for me xbox one as console its dead
For some reason I think MS has a bigger insight into their markets than we do, and probably wouldn't be bringing this to PC if it meant the end of the world for the Xbox One. Seems to me there's not a lot of hype for it on Xbone and this will just allow them to make more money via PC. It also gives them a potentially decent game to kick off the new app on Windows 10.
Yesterday there was loads of talk about how worthless the streaming Xbone games to PC is because PC gamers don't really own or care about an Xbox One. Now suddenly a game like Fable Legends was going to make loads of these same gamers buy an Xbox One? Nah.
I guess very good news for people, like myself, who would like to play Fable and have no intention of buying Xbox One.
I'm not sure MS is really loosing anything with this one - I'm a big fan of Fable, but, IMO, MS has let the franchise take a big quality hit with Fable 3 (nevertheless, it sold quite well), and while I'm excited for any new Fable game (except for stuff like The Journey), I'm not sure Legends is the right way to keep the IP healthy and growing.
X1, X360, PC = MS
Sonyboys and Nintendoboys. Do you play in Fable Legends on PS4 and WiiU??. NOOOOO.
It's still an exclusive. You can't play it on a Sony or Nintendo platform.

What are you even saying?
Nothing lost, maybe something gained. Maybe, these games are only being made because M$ looks at the cost of development and comes to the conclusion that they can go ahead if the game sells X amount on the xbox platform and X amount on the PC platform. Most people here act like M$ is a traditional console maker. No, they have multiple platforms that they control and support. They obviously look at things completely different than Nintendo and mostly different than Sony. Each M$ exclusive is a bonus to their whole ecosystem that they are propagating.
It is near the end of the end....
To fanboys its a win or lose situation, to a business its expanding a games user base. There are a lot of ports to PCs that majority don't care if its on PC. Titanfall sold over 2 million units on the XB1 alone and doubled that of the PC version. Does porting your key franchises to the PC format effect your hardware? No. Consoles will continue to sell to the casuals, no 15 year old will go and build a PC to play video games.
To Microsoft its a win/win situation, they own both formats so there gaming division will continue to grow regardless of format choice. Fable Legends being an online game will only benefit from the multi formats its available on since MS revealed cross play. The more the better. I own a gaming PC but ill be buying Fable on Xbox because I own all fables on Xbox. Everyone is different. There's no such thing as losing an exclusive to your own formats.
Vita ports didnt effect PS3 sales.
