yes Dino Crisis 3 went exclusive to Xbox... it turned into a space marine game (how surprising) and the franchise just died there.

re revelations 2--not to a console i didn't own (i have a vita), but still, that did pretty well on 3ds and it's perfect for new 3ds's built in circle pad pro.

also just as you said this isnt a sequel to Dark Souls its a new ip and Sony is the one that contacted From Software to make the game years ago, it literally wouldnt exist if it wasnt for Sony, PLUS there are hints that (despite the different name) this might actually be a sequel to Demons Souls.

also how is a new exclusive Souls game for Sony something bad when the whole franchise was born on the PS3 with a PS3 EXCLUSIVE game called Demons Souls... and the majority of the fanbase has ben on PS since the beginning, or even before the beginning since sony had the exclusive Kings Field games as well.

Although the game has yet to come I would say Banjo Threeie and the original remakes(?) on X360. I would even rate Banjo Kazooie above Mario 64, that game was so good and it felt so Nintendo!

Well, basically everything that MS buys in one way or the other is a loss for me.

the thing is you know i dont like spoilers so i have avoided the "things" in the trailers that hint to it being a sequel to DeS, but i have heard in different shows and podcast about this things and hints in the trailers involving some characters that could be hinting to Demons Souls, which have people wandering if this is actually a sequel with a different name.

and some people belive this might be a sequel to the Good ending of DeS in which the soul arts are sealed, and therefore there is no more "magic" in the world which would explain why there is no magic in Bloodborne, and insted of magic we have now "technology" in other words guns and weapons that can transform, now about the blood instead of souls, that is something that we will only know once we play the game.

but if i had to make a guess, at the end of DeS you pretty much "end" all the Demons that took people souls away, so there is no more reason why people's souls would be taken away and used as currency, plus we know that there is something going on with a "cure" in Bloodborne, and that cure (which i assume is something you inject in peoples blood) might be the reason why blood is the new currency, but thats just my guess and as of now its all just speculation... cant wait for the game.

Bloodborne is a spiritual succesor to the Souls series. Google metaseries.

I see people claiming all the time that Xenoblade Chronicles X is not a new IP, but it is. It's a spiritual sucessor to Xenoblade Chronicles, it doesn't take place in the same world.

Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X are all part of the Xeno metaseries. Demon Souls, Dark Souls 1 & 2 and Bloodborne are all part of the Souls metaseries.

Sweet God I'm still upset about Final Fantasy moving from Nintendo to PS back in the 90's. That was heartbreaking as a kid! Didn't get to play VII , VIII until years later
