I see the Playstation emblame in your avatar and your text can be in chinese, and I would also know it is a anti-nintendo Thread :D

Is that meant to be sarcastic or serious?

Sometimes I fell so stupid for choosing Mr.Playstation as my name. It really cuts off a whole part of this site and gets me a ton of hate. People automatically think my Nintendo threads are full of hate.

It's like they are saying that if someone is japanese then they are racist against blacks or antiblack by default. All I can tell from your avatar and name is that you're a sony fan.

Why do any of you Nintendo fans still have faith that the Wii U will make comeback? Why? It's been given every single opportunity to shine in 2014 from Mario Kart 8 to Super smash Bros to the highly acclaimed Bayonetta. There is practically no hope left for the Wii U.

Who said we wanted it to make a comeback? I highly doubt that anyone expects the Wii U to start outselling the twins. I think you're confusing love of orginal and unique gameplay for misguided hope :D

gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=197012&page=1#58

The OP and others clearly want the Wii U to make a comeback. I made this thread to state that whatever Nintendo does they still will not increase the Wii U's sales.

The thread's name is "Ways Nintendo can boost WiiU sales", not "Ways Nintendo can boost WiiU sales to beat PS4 this year". It's entirely possible the WiiU can sell better in 2015 than in 2014. That doesn't mean it is doing great or is competitive in console-race. I cannot see anyone in this thread is believing the WiiU could be beating the competition, but I admit I did not read every post.

Anyways, if this thread is the base to your claim, then you ask the question: "Why do people still have faith in the possibility that WiiU sales could slightly improve?" The answer to that is naturally: Common sense, why would anyone believe otherwise?

There's actually very few users who believe the Wii U will make a comeback. Most accept its fate and just enjoy the great games.

Might want to check some of the posts in here: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=196951&page=1

Most Nintendo fans in that thread are way too optimistic for WiiU, 3DS or both

Skimmed the first page, there's optimistic people but expecting a rise in sales over 2014 and believing the Wii U will make a comeback is not the same thing.

@ Bolded part: Quotes taken directly from this thread:

"I'm in no way expecting it to come back, though I do still think it's a possibility. "

"Is not faith for a come back, we have faith on wiiu sales getting better"

So, what you take from these quotes? Is it at all implausible to believe WiiU sales could get better in 2015?

What does that mean?

step 1: People discussing the possibility of improved sales in a "what if"-thread.

step 2: Mr. Playstation ask why people still trust in sales.

As you can see, that is something different. Improved sales are entirely possible. Many expect WiiU to peak in 2015, even non-Nintendo-fans. Trusting in sales and the wording of the OP suggests, that Nintendo-fans believe in much higher sales. But there is no indication that this is the case. Even if people speak about comeback, it probably means a baseline of > 50K. So the strawmen Mr. Playstation constructs is, that an significant amount of people exist, that believe in WiiU sales on the level of at least X1.

At least he was clever enough to avoid clear statements, he speaks from comeback and faith in sales without defining what that means. And the thread he posts as proof says to me, that the only answer to his question is: Naturally everyone has faith in WiiU sales having the possibility to be better in 2015 compared to 2014. Who thinks otherwise?

why is it still open? i think this same user has made about three different threads of precisely the same sort... which seems excessive and unnecessary.
