Forums - Sales Discussion - PS Vita is massivly undertracked!!!

Germany - PS Vita was at 1. on Amazon.de at the holidays and a long time at Top 40

It was discounted just for a few days on only one of the big retailers.
Amazon.de sure is one of the big players over here, still it is only one of them.
There is an interesting point in demographic of consoles as well.

And sad but true, the average gamers over here have no interest in Vita, believe it or not. The harcore ones that are very active on gaming sites and forums, yes. But the german Otto Normal doesn't care less for any other system, except Ouya maybe.

Wait guys, Wii U hardware is selling 3x better than PS Vita hardware in UK, but on Amazon UK PS Vita is doing a lot better than Wii U.

Another sign that it is undertracked...

Nintendo Wii U is fourth on that link, Vita is 15th.

I don't think it's very accurate. It insinuates that Wii U is outselling X1 in the UK, which it clearly isn't.

I still don't think the Vita TV should be considered as a Vita handheld being sold. Just as the gameboy player shouldn't have counted as a GBA sold.

Not quite the same since the Gameboy player was a peripheral and Vita TV is a standalone product.

They're the same thing. The Gameboy player was a GBA. The only thing it used the gamecube for was to output video onto your television. The hardware obviously wasn't as advanced as a Vita is, but it still was GBA hardware. Also a Vita TV should be classified as a Vita TV. As it is meant to be a set top box first. A game console second.

Have you seen the media options in Europe? It's a games console and nothing else here.
