Quick thought... when they go to release this game and advetise it, they better focus 100% on this multiplayer. That is what excited people at E3. That is what will sell this game. Not the clothing/micro-transactions and not the solo game.

Just like FPS games (which this basically is a TPS), it needs to focus 100% on the multiplayer battles. People playing like the old-school Wii commercials.

You're just jumping on a bandwagon because the game looks casual friendly. Go ahead and deny it, but that's all you're doing, and then you go around acting as if you've made some amazing, magical prediction. 

People think Zelda's overhyped? Wait for the crash and burn of splatoon. You haven't seen anything yet.

As a reply to original post: Just say that "Splatoon will sell more than Zelda WiiU" instead of babbling stuffs.

And I disagree. Why? Because Nintendo sucks at marketing, and especially marketing New IPs. Nintendo just doesn't know how to generate enthusiasm for new series. They know how to make great games, and many times, they know how to make the right game at the right time, Tomodachi, Wii Fit, Animal Crossing etc are all great examples of that. But none of those success are the result of great marketing.

Splatoon lifetime Sales: Japan 60 000, Europe 180 000, USA 300 000

As for Zelda U? Well it will sell something like 2.5 millions in the first year. Maybe 3 lifetime

Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros are bigger.

While I agree Nintendo sucks at marketing, also I think your 540k lifetime figure is an underestimation.

And you really think Zelda will sell over 80% of its lifetime sales in its first year?

Pokemon and Smash - yes, you're right. I don't know how I didn't think of those.
