Bout time a big site had the balls to do this. I might actually read/watch reviews again.

Hopefully more will follow suit. Hate the current "nope, scored less than 85 on meta critic NO BUY!" Mentality. Some of the best games last gen did poorer on meta for bs clickbait review scores which were heavily weighted.
Yes!
Never cared for reviews, but defining the quality of a game by a score is one of the worst things in gaming journalism(if you can call it that...)
This will also take bragging rights away from fanboys, no way to say which game is better if there are no meaningless scores to show off! Only opinions.
I hope that all the others "reviewers" follow this and make gaming journalism something worth following.
Great news. Hopefully this leads more sites to follow but I doubt it.
I'm very glad to hear that.. Just imagine if other review sites would start doing the same!

This is a very good move, now we just need someone like IGN or Gamespot to be brave enough to do the same.
Awesome! I applaud Joystiq for this decision! I've always hated it when people slap arbitrary numbers onto a game to represent everything about how good it is.
I hope more reviewers take notice of this. Maybe if enough people start ditching review scores, Metacritic will crumble as well!

End of Metacritic is nigh? That would obliterate review score prediction and tracking threads.
Good thing?
