Forums - Nintendo - I might just have to buy Bayonetta 2

Hopefully you read this lol. Besides, who doesn't want an extra full game for free (since your NA) and sneak an extra game to make your restriction thing techincially 11? :D

B2 is my favourite Wii U game of all time(so far and beating MK8 & Smash) , while B1 in close second. I suggest you play through the whole story of B1 first because B2 has some flashbacks to B1, and reveales even more of what happened there in a certain chapter towards the end. I suggest you play B1 on easy mode, but you can also play it on Normal like me as a first timer to the genre, which made me die multiple times in almost every chapter and get mostly bronze trophies with little money. (BUT I did it and it was rewarding!!!) - B1 Normal is harder than B2's middle 2nd Climax.

B2 is a incredibly great game overall. For me,the gameplay does not become reppetitive, ever, simply because of the huge range of enemies that I use different tactics agaisnt and there's loads of weapon combinations to try and the fact that I don't button mash, well, most of the time. You can have 2 sets at a time. My favourite weapon is the Fire/Ice Undine. Also, not all the chapters are as fast paced as the prologue in the demo.

Story is strange but amazing and it just works. Cutscenes are very good and some are pretty funny too lol. As for replayabilty, well, there's a TON! There are all the musphelhiem challenges and notebooks ect that are scattered around chapters which encouraged me to explore and take my time on my first playthrough.  Tag Climax with other people ONLINE is quite a fun mode, and there's verse cards to unlock. After the main story, there are multiple "Witch Trails" to do too. Also, there's all the weapons, playable characters,  "bewitchments" (aka achievments) , things to buy and  a secret boss fight to unlock. I want to do the game on 3rd Climax too for the challenge and unlock certain things.

Ahem.....well I told you that you won't stop hearing from me until you buy it!

Of course I will read it. If you quote me, I'll read every word

I'm glad that you like it so much! It probably won't be Mario Kart or Smash Bros for me but you never know, it could surprise me. I will want to play it on normal mode first but if I find it too hard I might turn it on easy. I have only been playing games on normal for about 6 months. I used to play them all on easy, I'm a scrub

Thats fine. I want to hear from you!

You should consider going digital only then!

I did read the OP! Honest! I just... sort of... didn't read that part... If you like it then go ahead and buy it at a discounted price, it comes with another game!

Ha! Nice loophole but that won't do

Sure, you just happened to miss that part

Do you have it?

Sorry for the late reply! I have the demo and liked it but I decided against buying it because I think it's too expensive for me right now. Maybe sometime down the road I'll get it! The game looks fun though!

Bayonetta 1 was easily the best technical hack abs slash game last gen and Bayonetta 2 beats it. If you like tht genre you can't go wrong.

If you are like me, you will get about 15hrs from the first game and about 7-8hrs from the sequel on your first play through (I love hack and slash games and an decent at them).

If you are a completionist you will get a lot more.

Both games are one of the best in the genre and deserve a second play through.

Ypu totally should. Its one of the best Wii U games.

Not really repetitive because the fighting is the best part. Lots of enemies to face and new weapons to use. If anything I wanted the game to have more fights in it.

Honestly I feel it is kind of short. 14 hours is short for me.
You can replay on higher difficulties and look for the secret arenas.
And there is that online gauntlet mode, but that is harder than the main game.

Just make sure you don't get bored of your new Wii U.

It's very repetitive, but I don't like hack & slash... A lot better games on Wii U imo.

Why only ten?
