Forums - Gaming - So is anyone actually excited for Evolve?

Like we have 4 friends to play this game.. Would have actually been awesome on the wiiu if one played the monster on the gamepad and the others 4player splitscreen..

Since its reveal the media and the dev/publisher have been making a big fuzz about this game, kinda trying to replicate the Titanfall effect (look how many awards we got at E3 guys) but I really haven't seen gamers respond to the media hype at all, which on the one hand makes me almost certain that the media was somehow paid off to hype this game and on the other hand makes me wonder if there are any people on here genuinely hyped for it.

I personally think the game looks boring and definitely not worth $60 but that's just my opinion.

i agree with you 100%

I mean... eventually even the FPS market gets saturated with so much offer.

Doesnt interest me. But then again, i dont find enjoyment in FPS' unless its something engrossing like Fallout, wich turns out to be more RPG than FPS.

mii, it look very interesting, but I can see a big problem already, people rage quiting because they didn't get to play the monster

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Lost all interest after the Alpha, will give it another go during the Beta and see how I feel about it

I think it looks cool, but both the community and the variety of matches will either make or break the game.

Sounds fun.....for about 20 minutes.

Would give it a try if it were F2P. It looks like it would get old very quickly and will probably be full of sore losers quitting out after first death.

No way I would pay $60 for it (and $50 for PS+ on top as I don't have it), and if you wait for a bargain bin price, the online will be abandoned by then.

(Not to mention that always-online is bound to cause problems, especially after my Alpha experience when I couldn't connect to a single match over the course of 3 days)
