Did you also add Indiegames on PS4/Xbox ONE? Because half of the Games on their respective Listings I have never heard of or seen in Shops

Zoo Tycoon is an old IP btw, although I think the previous ones where all PC only

As for Wii U: Zombi U?

if he ads all indie games then that list will become too long.

And went you haven't seen half of those games in ships is cause half of them come out this year. Why you haven't heard of them? Are you a Nintendo fan? That could explain it.

OP, I thought no mans sky was also being published by Sony

We don't get as many news about upcoming games here in our small country of Luxembourg. We do get all the Nintendo Directs however, so that's why I am more informed about them then about the other consoles.

About No Man's Sky: Nope, it's published directly by the developer, Hello Games

Ah ok, I thought you meant with published by X published exclusive on their console.

Also, NES Remix, Nintendoland, Sing Party, maybe Art Academy if you want to count that one as a game (all Wii U)

I don't think a collection of old NES games could be considered a new IP...

If they where all unchanged and fully playable, it certainly wouldn't. But you don't play these games, just certain aspacts of them. And in the remix levels, you play certain aspects of some games mixed up with those of some others. So yes, I would count it as a new IP as there are way too many changes to the original games to discount it as just a retro games collection

It's not a new intellectual property though, if it contains aspects of old or existing IP's, it nullifies it. Though I did add Nintendoland to the list to be kind, despite the fact I wouldnt really count it as a new IP too, but I will give them that.

Halo MCC redid things and changed things as well, I guess that is a new ip as well then?

Not even close as extensively as Nintendo Remix did. Besides, it also bears the Halo brand, not a new brand

Good stuff. I love supporting new IP's

Splatoon, Until Dawn, Bloodborne, and a few of the smaller games are on my maybe list.

I count Pushmo & Tearaway too since they are new to this gen. I'll be looking into them. (For the purposes of this thread, I understand why they aren't listed though )

Tearaway is awesome! I just wished I could keep playing that on and on and on. Sadly it came to an end. But at least I platted it.

So Mario Maker would also not be qualifiable, right? Bit of a shame imo, but I guess that's the rules

IP's dont just refer to the name.

A NEW IP uses new property, so ideally, shouldn't use any property from another IP. That's why mario spin-offs would not count, however since we aren't a legal team, as long as the title is a drastic change and doesn't focus too much on the previous IP's, I can let it off, however there are no cases of such in the list above.

No because the intellectual property in that case is the inclusion of mario

On a personal note, I am dissapointed with Nintendo, because instead of 'mario maker' they could have expanded it a bit more and made a game that lets you make side-scroller platformers that aren't limited to mario assets.
IMO, they have the tools to make an even better project spark, which could include a full 'mario maker'-style creation system

Lego City Undercover was published by Nintendo.

I don't have a Vita but do like LBP so I'm definitely keeping my eye on it. Glad to hear you like it

most either hate it or love it...
