Pokemon isn't released like call of and it actually introduces new stuff and hone the mechanics.

Aside from monster hunter, you didn't really show any example of yearly games that are all the same.

What more can they do? Change the entire game to something new? That will just cause the franchise to die. Just having that dog caused bs.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here.

Pokemon introduces new stuff and hones mechanics and that's okay.

Call of Duty introduces new stuff and hones mechanics and that's terrible?

I agree, they've messed things up lately (recovered with Advanced Warfare), but it's only the same process that you just admitted Pokemon does too.

My point is that they can do so much till the game is completly different. Than people boycot. It's more to the people complaining they don't do enough to make them different. Both sides complain.

Persona is popular because its classic JRPG gameplay with waifu sim mixed in.

But yes I wouldnt mind if they slowed down with Pokemon releases.

This has nothing to do with why it's popular. If anything, it limits the audience of the game. Series is loved because it's very polished, has a great cast and story, and has a lot of content. That + decently made adaptations help broaden the net.

Japan and North America/Europe are worlds apart in terms of gaming. The Japanese people like RPG's and Fighting games, while the North American and European people like First-Person Shooters, Third-Person Action games and Sports games.

If you take a simple search on VGChartz database (no PC) and take away all Nintendo related titles (in the USA and Europe it is Wii Sports and Mario Bros, in Japan it is Pokémon, Animal Crossing and Mario Bros ) then you will get these top lists:

Japan
Monster Hunter
Dragon Quest
Final Fantasy
Youkai Watch
Street Fighter
Gran Turismo
Hot Shots Golf
A long way down the list there are the JRPGs: Yu-Gi-Oh, Chrono Trigger, Mana, Kingdom Hearts, Romancing SaGa, Dragon Ball, Inazuma Eleven. At place 171 on the RPG top list there is the first Persona game.

Europe
GTA
CoD
Gran Turismo
FIFA
Kinect Adventures!
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
Just Dance
Europe is often described as the region for racing games: except for Gran Turismo the first racing game on the top list is Need for Speed Underground 2 on place 58.

North America
Kinect Adventures!
GTA
CoD
Halo
Just Dance
The Elder Scrolls
Sonic the Hedgehog
Battlefield
Madden
Gears of War
Gran Turismo

Well if you look at those lists, I fit into the Japanese market's top general taste (bolded titles) more than the EU/NA ones.

I think many on VGChartz likes japanese games more than the average western gamer.

Pokemon could start introducing a single player that actually tries to take advantage of its gameplay instead of having a 10-20 hour single player that you could run through with a single Pokemon team you've had since the start..

The Pokémon Company/Nintendo/Game Freak are probably right in being conservative with the franchise. After all these games they should know their fanbase.

Maybe you can try other moster collecting games.   http://gameslikefinder.com/games-like-pokemon/

Maybe the games that are in the video game industry just aren't to their liking. None of the consoles aren't doing well over there. I would have to look at statistics on their gamers to maybe have some sort of idea of what they might like.
