I played it, it wasn't good. I would much rather have had a turn-based SRPG Advance Wars-styled game.
There's no way this game would appeal to any market, Western or Eastern.

I had the first game and really enjoyed it. Never bought the one for the Wii but I'd be interested in one for the WiiU.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
The developer, Kuju Entertainment, is now making Wii U's Art Academy, and it will be released soon(it was introduced in 2014 E3). So maybe their next project is this.
Meh.. I won't lose sleep over a lack of a WiiU Battalion Wars game!

There are alot of cool games that could be done on WIi U.
The thing is, it still has wiimotes, and the tablet thing has a separate screen, which is a touch screen, with a mic. I could think of quite a few games already and I'm not a dev.
Unfortunately only a handful of these ideas will come to fruition. I was holding out hope at one point indies would step up and explore some of these ideas, but only very few have. Oh well.

It's just so ironic that Wii U has by far the best console interface for RTS games, but no RTS games to speak of.

It has Pikmin 3!

True, but that plays a bit more like an adventure game than a typical RTS.

It's a horrible series IMO ...
Just stick with Pikmin and they should be good to go ...
