Forums - Gaming - PS4 or Xbox One in 2015?

What is the more appealing system for 2015?

PS4 444 80.00%

Xbox One 80 14.41%

Ouya 30 5.41%

Total:554

Before I played Persona 4 Golden: Xbox One
After I played Persona 4 Golden: PS4

However both look to have great linups. Some may not like Uncharted, some may not like Halo.

In terms of JUST exclusives I prefer Sony in 2015. However it's very difficult for me to not show preference when you ask for favorites....

PS4: Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, MLB 15: The Show
Xbox One: Halo 5, Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Scalebound, Crackdown 3, Ori and the Blind Forest

I'd say its about a tie with all of these games to tell you the truth. Both are going to have a great year. E3 is going to be the tie breaker if you ask me.

I don't think that Scalebound has been confirmed for a 2015 release, and neither has Crackdown3, I think. Also, Ori and Blind Forest although fascinating it's not going to be a big-hitter since it's indie and probably will come out on PC as well. Also, Tomb Raider is coming out on 360 too, so that leaves just Halo 5 and Quantum Break for the Xbox One as far as heavy-hitters go in 2015.

I'm now filled with determination.

PS4 definitely. Quantum Break and Ori are the only intresting titles to me on xbox. We all know Tomb Raider is coming to PS4 later also.

these games should be added to the list.. Not sure why he decided that unknown games from PS4 and headlining but didn't feel the same about new games from Xbox one.

Personally I would love to play bloodborne, however the rest interest me on XBox One.

Who cares if it's coming out on 360, this to me doesn't matter the slightest. Nor should it. i wouldn't take away from any of the ps4 games if it was on PS3.

So appealing now has to be defined as exclusive next gen only?  Who voted you captain?

Well many are not confirmed and will be at E3, usually Sony reveals all their cards as micro-soft doesn't.

if you actually read the op, which you clearly didn't and you probably are a little disgruntled that the popular preference isn't xbox, i listed only exclusive ps4 and xbox one games. ori is on 360 and pc, tomb raider is on pc, 360, and probably will be on ps4.

How are Ratchet and Clank and Until Dawn more confirmed compared to Rise of Tomb Raider?

Those games have been in development for a while now and were revealed at E3. Actually, much like Sony recently unveiled the trademark for Until Dawn last year around E3 time, Microsoft just trademarked Scalebound. By the sounds of it the game should be complete by at least 3rd quarter 2015 by my estimation. Same thing was going on with the Devils Third as well. Crackdown until further notice is slated for 2015 as well
