Sony really needs a much stronger game release in Japan near Christmas / end of year. Because it leaves the other competitor to take all the attention from the media.

No the ouch goes to WiiU, we can say the same about PS4 next year if it was this down. It's doing half the sales it was doing last year, hence the ouch.

Though he is right , you dont know what youre talking about , its next week PS4 should be above, and thé fact you dont want to understand PS4 cant sell better without enough games ( while WiiU already had 2 biggest nintendo system seller, still its selling less than least year)shows your agenda ts next week that PS4

But Japan does prefer handhelds more, but Nintendo did have smash, while the PSvita and Ps4 had no big game which released near the end of the year. 

In the end all looks bad besides the 3DS! ( which sales are nearly doubled with  everything combined )

so, wii party U wii U bundle really helped wii U in japan. smash and mario kart couldnt match that sales.
if nintendo be smart, they will make a mario party 10 bundle for 2015 holidays in japan.

Anyhow, it seems WiiU bucked the typical trend for Nintendo consoles this week and actually went up while 3DS remained stable. It should drop next week though while PS hardware gets another boost iirc.
