I've completed a couple hundred games on Xbox 360 since 2008, but only about 25 games on PS3 and I had it since 2011. However, I did have a few hundred hours of enjoyment with PS3 so it was worth a $250 investment.

Anyhow, having all consoles RIGHT NOW isn't a worthwhile investment to me. I'm too busy and have plenty to play. But I certainly want PS4 and Wii U at some point and they'll be cheaper down the road.


That's why I feel like PS Now will be so good in the future. I can own a non-Sony console, and just rent the few exclusive I'm interested in.

Too much money/time on their hands.

I'm sorry, but I just don't think people need to own every system. Most people don't, and can't afford to, nor have the time to play ALL those games. One system is usually enough for most gamers. Sometimes two. (not including PC)

They sure have a lot of time or they're wasting their money, because even a single platform could easily keep you busy enough unless you have lots of time. I can understand getting more than one system but getting all seems like a waste to me. Good for you if you can afford it, but I don't see the point personally.

Many of them seem to be incredibly annoying and pretentious about it because they see themselves as being above the console wars. I don't understand how someone can have enough time and/or money to have all three consoles.

I am quite content with the Wii U primarily because of two reasons: Off-TV and keyboard-on-screen. The browser  in itself is slow and only allow six tabs.

Also for me the PS4 and XOne seems to be the same. I am leaning towards buying PS4: Any advice?

In general, I'd say PS4 before Xbox One (though I prefer the Xbox).  Gotta go with what's right for you.

Affording money-wise isn't the problem..affording time is. Mileage may vary but I find that people who do that often resort to playing it safe within each platform, leading them to miss out on many great games within each one. In that sense, they end up limiting themselves as much as someone who only games on one or two platforms, so there isn't much of a difference other than costing more money.

We also miss out on many mediocre and crappy games within each platform for which many single-platform-users waste their money while waiting for the release of the next great games. ;)

How do you know they are mediocre or crappy if you missed out on them? You don't.

It's not about affording.  I can afford it but frankly I fail to see how it would be worth someone's time to set-up all 3 consoles, and buy all of these games.  I bairely have enough time as it is to play all of the PS4 and PC games I want, and I game more often than most people.

If you have any life at all, you don't have time for all 4 (Unless you are the pickiest gamer on Earth and only like 3 exclusives from each camp).  That is my opinion at the very least...

Ditto, time is the issue.

Heck I have half a dozen games that I own that I have yet to even load up on the system yet.  I have no time to play them, its not about money.  Sure I wouldn't mind having som $300 back or so, but whatevs.  I'll get to them eventually I suppose.  

I should probably start waiting till price cuts of games, lol.

But really makes me wonder who all these bitchers are of Draughts.  If you have a draught you either aren't enjoying gaming cause or you need to use that draught time to make money and buy a new console.  There are plenty of games out there that had a shit ton of replay value that you can last through any drought
