Gamefly gives access to 10 different systems including the next gen systems, and new release games.  Compared to that, PSNow is a bit limited, even if the streaming is convenient.

Gamefly can give access to a 100 systems. you can still only rent 1 game at a time.

and that thing about new releases, any kinda content is new if being consumed for the first time. lastly, the service just started, we have no idea where and how it will mature.

Any content is new for the first time?  Silly argument is silly.  Games go down vastly in price as time goes on, and people tend to pay a premium for newer things.  Plus, having more options is obviously better than having less options.  If I see a commercial for a new game and I want to try it and I have Gamefly, I can.  If I have PSNow, I can't.  Trying to downplay that as insignificant is lulzy.

As for "the service just started" sillier argument is sillier.  People are talking about what the service is now, and that feedback helps defines how the service will evolve.  I can't see the future, I can only comment on what Sony is putting on the table now.

Being able to rent one game (three actually depending on what tier you have) with a huge catalog including new games vs having access to as many as you want but a limited library is a trade off.  Personally I'd prefer the larger catalog.

pricing seems fair. I can't think of anything to downplay it considering what I get out of it.

I wont use it all the time, but if I see a few games that I really want to play then I'll sub for a month, and at the same time have access to 100s more games and trophies to unlock.

Price seems fair, although the line up is still pretty small. If this included PS2 games it would be a lot more enticing for me (if my internet was good enough).

Pricing is right, games are not movies espacially in the 3 months pack which is 15$ per month. Thats the time you will need to beat these many games in the first place from 1 month. Neogaf needs to shut up, they try to influence the industry again, with whining like they did with tekken 7. What happened with the industry if news sites listen to a single forums whining?

The one month price is garbage, but the 3 month one is $180 a year or the price of 3 brand new games (2 if you're here in Canada -_-). If the Kingdom Hearts remixes and Final Fantasy X remakes are on there or hit there soon, I'd cry gold.

They could even offer a little discount for PS+ subscribers, like $30-$35 for 3 months for PS+ subscribers and watch PS+ subscriptions explode.

Thanks jlmurph!

if we get a PS+ discount... could that also be considered a Steam killer? (once they added more games from PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4)

What happened when $50 was a years subscription ?
Screw this shit

can't wait to use it on Vita...

It needs to get more games, get a bigger library and PS2 games for me to take up on it. The price is not outrageous but I cannot see many people keeping it for a whole year, too expensive
