Any content is new for the first time? Silly argument is silly. Games go down vastly in price as time goes on, and people tend to pay a premium for newer things. Plus, having more options is obviously better than having less options. If I see a commercial for a new game and I want to try it and I have Gamefly, I can. If I have PSNow, I can't. Trying to downplay that as insignificant is lulzy.
As for "the service just started" sillier argument is sillier. People are talking about what the service is now, and that feedback helps defines how the service will evolve. I can't see the future, I can only comment on what Sony is putting on the table now.
Being able to rent one game (three actually depending on what tier you have) with a huge catalog including new games vs having access to as many as you want but a limited library is a trade off. Personally I'd prefer the larger catalog.
