Look at mario kart 3ds vs wii u sales alignment.

Realise that games that sell on 3ds dont necessarily do well always on console.

Just because a game franchise is successful on a platformer, does not mean it will do the same on consoles, especially in Japan.

Take a look at the console Monster Hunter game sales versus the performances on portables.

No it wouldn't. Yokai Watch is popular because of the 3DS, not the other way around. It's not just the games. It's the platform.

What is that even supposed to mean? MK8 is selling great on Wii U!

Wii U-8.2m  Mario Kart 8-3.57m

 

 

That's a little over 1/5 of 3DS owners having Mario Kart 7, where as almost half of Wii U owners have Mario Kart 8. Including digital, I'm sure the numbers are already there for Mario Kart 8

Heres me thinking based on the thread title thats its been announced for the Wii U, but from searching its not even in the pipeline. OK so if we're going to pick out games out of the air, you know what would help even better than Youkai Watch if it was exclusive to the Wii U, GTA6 or COD MW4 or a $100 price cut. One can dream, can't they?
