They couldn't have done that, since in that case it couldn't have been used in exclusive list wars because digital titles don't count.

Going by this site http://www.howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=19217 its 6 and a half hrs.  If u wanna do everything like get the collectables I guess its 10, but the story is 6 and a half.

Non of the Uncharted games are that short, neither is Tomb Raider.  You said it, cod and battlefield also have multiplayer.  DMC reboot is 9 hrs.  Metal Gear Rising is about the same length.

Already used.  Cod and BF have multiplayer, which is what those games are known for/built around.  Ofc there's gonna be those outliers, there is every gen, there's no way every game in a gen is gonna be over 6 and a half hrs, especially if your digging all the way to the bottom with games like Aliens: Colonial Marines, but the majority of games are well over 6 and a half hrs.

I bought the game day 1 full price (kinda $39), loving it so far. I rather have the game being its own game, since that shows given the right gameplay, nintendo is willing to give life to new characters.
I voted with my wallet, Nintendo knows I'll pay full price for quality games.

Well, I wasn't really digging cause I was just naming it from a list at that site and it came up. And yes, there are a lot of games over 6 1/2 hours but at the sametime, there are plenty of games that are around 6 hours as well so I do think his point still stands. And people are paying $20 less for Captain Toad (Which has a 100% completion time of ~14-15 hours) so I do think its quite a fair price even though I am not really a fan of it. And of course, there are plenty more but listing all of them would take too long
