I love Mega Man. I love Keiji Inafune. I Love plattformers.

But I dont see it be very hyped to be honest, in fact I rarely see anything about it.

 

My votes would be for the anual CoD and AC releases and probably Halo as well.

Halo is going to take that spot since its going to be the most marketed game, we will see dozens of ads on Halo 5. Other games will be hyped through gamers themselves.

Well, at least people know theres a game called the Order because of that. If not for your conversation, i forgot there was an upcoming fable. And im very sure a lot of others have forgotten too

My conclusion from observing the comment section are, first Halo 5 is the most over hype to death game on 2015, second, there are some people who still confuse from negative previews with over hype, they think the order 1886 is over hype, contradictory with the actual preview, it seem most of people doesn't have any hype at all with the Order 1886. and No man sky is actually not over hype it's an Indie games, so i guess that's out of question.

But it's not overhyped cause it'll exceed expectations and become GOTY 2015.

K then. The Order gets my vote for biggest letdown for massively hyped game. COD will have the biggest hype budget as usual, but it's being made by Treyarch and they're actually really good at making games.

Don't pretend there weren't many posts in these threads who are at least skeptical positive about the order. Especially ps fans seem to be more positive about it but shouldn't be surprising as all fan bases tend to do this.

And dont pretend most people are not negative about this game, there is no overhype. Nobody wait for a super hit, but a good cinematic experience like Uncharted, QB, TLOU,...  People who wait this game know what to expect and dont care about the suppoed  " flaws" and know there is no reason to expect a good metascore with such not deserved hate.

The game will deliver where we expect it to deliver : Atmosphere, visuals, story, classic but good gameplay. The only thing that could disappoints is the story.

On the contrary, I wish it was more than it seems to be, because it seems like half of a dream game. The ability to explore this vast universe to discover new planets full of strange and fantastic things, that sounds damn brilliant. The art style is really nice too. Unfortunately, by the creator's own admission most of the planets are completely empty and not even remotely as interesting as all the ones handpicked fpor the trailers and presentations, and I've yet to see anything that resembles fun engaging gameplay from it. So ya, I think this game is gonna massively disappoint a lot of people once the initial novelty wears off.


If you buy this game thinking that you can go to whatever planet, find it packed full of aliens and cities then yes, I agree with you but anyone who's been keeping up with the details on the game have realistic expectations.
