Anyway, I do know people who would fall into that category alluded to in the OP but then again I know folks who are highly trained special force marines who love final fantasy and Madden equally.

My own mother and sister are gamers so I those are my reference points for average gamers lol. I wouldn't dare try to define what a typical gamer looks like because I know better lol.

Normal weight, don't own any video game related clothing and I try to look at least fashionably decent. Only when I'm not going anywhere, I don't care that much about my clothing. Not spotty whatsoever and what is this thing about the fedora. I thought fedoras where for the Italian mob back when video games didn't even excist.

I think that stereotype is used pretty much to describe "geeks" in general, including Otakus as well.

I don't fit in with those stereotypes, I'm quite the opposite looks-wise. People say I look stuck up, but when they get to know me they find out I'm quite the opposite. Looks wise.... I'm tall and skinny with some "feminine" features, such as pretty lips and long lashes, I also look younger than what I am... Maybe that's why I usually get called "pretty" and "cute" instead of handsome or hot lol.

But honestly, I love gaming! I don't own videogame related clothing, but I have purchased osts! And even if people usually think "stuck up spoiled pretty boy", I usually don't hide the fact that I love videogames and J-Pop. Screw that, they're hobbies of mine and something I'm not ashamed of. I don't have to hide it.

Only the zero taste in fashion applies to me.

I don't fit any of the parameters you listed, so I definitely don't look like a stereotypical gamer.
