And I don't know if I trust any of it, because the PS3s web browser is top dog. And that thing is trash. It's a nice feature to have, but the browser, itself, is trash

Why don't you trust it? "The best camera is the one that's with you." The same goes for web browsers.

Even if the PS3 web browser is shitty, it is still miles better than the handling of smart tv web browsers. So if you sit on your couch and want to look something up in the internet and the smartphone/tablet/laptop/PC is in the next room... do you stand up for that or are you lazy and use the console browser instead? Most people are lazy. ;)
