Isn't this just the Wii third party situation in a nut shell?

1) Sega has a 4 million seller on the Wii (5 million with DS)...

2) ....but Sega still won't be "shifting their focus."

Expect more of the same, it appears, and no more.

I don't really like this. I have seen the adverts, and even from that it does not seem like a good game, and certainly undeserving of 5m sales

I'm happy for SEGA...This game will top 10million maybe even by the end of this christmas...but I think i'll wait for Sonic's return to quality via Bioware...

Who wants to play something hardcore like Sega's "Medieval 2 Total War" ( I  know they are  only the publisher of this game) running in Wii's 480p? Maybe they do get it.

I'm not saying there anything wrong with Mario and Sonic as it does seems a good choice for the wii system.

they could throw out a crappy Mario game and it would sell 5 mil. on the name alone!

I predict Mario and Sonic Wii + Mario and Sonic DS will > GTA IV Ps3 + GTA IV X360.

And Daddo, Mario Party 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 says hi!

Yes, the thought of Sonic and Mario's first game being a minigame compilation must upset you all, but it's YOUR FAULT. If you had made the Gamecube sell even half as well as the PS2, Nintendo would have seen plenty of profit in hardcore gaming still.
