I figured I'd join the party and add a thread to the "this what Nintendo needs to do" category.

Nintendo has fewer employees than EA. Yes, that's right, they need to deal with home and handheld console hardware and their multiple revisions, as well as feeding them with software (since 3rd parties won't) with fewer employees than a software publisher with a bunch of games per year. That's insane.

I know Nintendo likes keeping things small and trying to profit from that, but some expansion wouldn't hurt. I fact, I think it would be very beneficial.

You see, Nintendo has a shit ton of IPs. Why the hell do they refuse to do something productive with them? Well, because they are a small company and they don't have enough people to make that many games, so they need to focus on the cash cows. The problem is, the cash cows by themselves look lonely. Very lonely. They need that variety around them that will provide healthy hardware sales. Even if the weaker IPs profitted less, they would help each other a lot.

Imagine a console that has all of these in the first couple of years (in bold the ones already released on Wii U):

Dr. Mario

F-Zero

Add new IPs, 2nd and 3rd party games, and Nintendo could release plenty of software to make their consoles a sucess. As it stands, they only release a few of those and they are sloooooooow to do so.

I haven't had a Nintendo home console since N64, but I'd definitely be tempted to get one with Advance Wars, F-Zero, Xenoblade, Golden Sun, Zelda and 3D Metroid.

Pokemon Rumble U, it's really bad.

It'd be cool if we at least get a Pokemon battle arena title, Pokemon Stadium like minigames online would be pretty fun.

A Pokemon battle arena title is what i'm referring to. Lol. I don't think anyone considers Rumble a proper Pokemon game.

If they're not releasing another Mario Tennis this generation I'm gonna be a sad panda.
