The only way I see this happening is:
MS bring back the price of the Xbox One to $400
And when Microsoft go crazy in November and December for $300+game, Sony is able to respond with $300 + game too which I think will be possible since the PS4 will have 2 years in the market so a $100 price is quite likely.
But again, MS has to bring the price of the Xbox One back to $400 for this to be possible.

No way with halo 5 coming out. Xbox One will outsell ps4 by 750k that year



Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65) 

Wii u: 20 milliion

I am not ignoring anything but thats the one that sticks out to me the most and thats the one that will have the largest impact if it was to happen.

I agree. ps4 momentum is a train in locomotion nothing is gonna slow it down. Not even an xbone or two on the track=P

For the point 4 nobody care about non game services in both consoles as for point 6 casuals market is not in any consoles unless you call game like call of duty are casuals games,if you call games like call of duty casuals then those kind of casuals was always on Playstation and Xbox,but real casuals gamers simply didn't bough a new consoles.


Sing star bro. And hopefully there will be at least one Buzz on PS4. And with really great smartphone integration there are opportunities for party games that don't need people to use controllers.

Non game features is IMO part of the reason Nintendo lost the casuals in a single generation. It's really an essential part of having a broad appeal.

Isn't singstar and buzz also on ps3 then why ps3 didn't sell as well as ps4 because casuals games on Playstation are not the main selling point of ps4,games like Nintendo dogs and wii play game got a huge decline in sale on 3DS and Wii where those players goes surely not on ps4 since no casuals games reach those sales.

Xbone still had better non-gamefeatures did it help it to compete with ps4?No



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
