Explain to me how Nintendo hates powerful hardware. I would be pleased if you did. 

Also since you are a PC gamer, you should really realize how anemic the consoles are in comparison to PC lol

I won't even honor that with an answer since it is so obvious that my head would explode if I had to explain it to someone.

I'm not a PC gamer. I'm a gamer. I get the systems where the games are I want to play. I can't help that the hardware on consoles is a piece of crap but I have to deal with it. That's still no excuse of a company to avoid potent hardware like the pest. That's why it would be nice to me and a lot of other people if Nintendo went 3rd party so people could enjoy their games on more potent platforms that treat the games like they deserve.

#1. The Wii was a one hit wonder, a fad in the purest sense of the word. They tried the same trick twice with the Wii U and it didn't work. Nintendo was always about new, innovative and cutting edge gameplay from the NES through the GC... the Wii was just recycled ideas with motion controls tacked on.... it began and ended with Wii Sports.

Of course, people often like to gloss over Nintendo's blunders from the N64 generation and onward, such as refusing to embrace CDs/DVDs as the preferred storage medium for gaming, and completely ignoring the emergence of online gaming as their competitors beat them to the punch, giving Nintendo consoles that "stuck in the past" feeling.

And of course it doesn't help matters when Nintendo themselves purposely design their consoles to be a generation behind their competitors in hardware capabilities for 2 straight generations now. The days of the $300+ console not being able to reach mainstream audiences are long gone... people pay that much every couple of years just for new phones.

2007 called, it wants its wishful thinking back. 5-6 years is a normal console lifespan. 

Funny cause the only consoles I can think of that were underpowered were the Wii and Wii U. Beyond that they were at the forefront for power in the industry. Come on now. 

I could care less what kind of gamer you are. But if setting parameters is your bag, then PC should be in your repertoire as it has many great games exclusive to it. Define piece of crap for me. The Wii U is aptly capabale of what it is intended to do, and oddly enough the others aren't. All that the Wii U was intended to do was make HD games, it is doing that, quite well actually. The PS4 and X1 were designed to make 1080p games at 60 fps and they are vastly, and in the majority, failing to do so. So when the parameters are set, what is the failure? If people want to enjoy Nintendo games, all they need to do is get the console. The same could be said about Naughty Dog and any of the studios that MS hires to make their games. If you want multiple Nintendo games, get their console, same goes for any manufacturer.

As of right now, Nintendo is their own worst enemy. They have become hostile to anything that would boost sales and the Wii U has pretty much become the Gamecube(Game drought after Game drought) but with less third party support. The best thing that could happen for Nintendo, as a business, is that their "Quality of Life" products actually sell well or they release a true Wii successor with not only more 'casual' games but with successors to their best selling NES and SNES games(2D Zelda for example) that aren't rushed or made with a minimalist attitude(New Super Mario Bros. has to end).

This year for Wii U has been amazing, release wise. And next year is looking to be the same. The only similarity to GC is sales.

Oh only the Wii U and Wii? Well then Nintendo only hates potent hardware for the last 8 years. Well that's alright then.

I couldn't care less what Nintendo was out to do. It's about what I the consumer want and not Nintendo. And it's not about failure since all console fail in comparison with PC. It's also not about who failed most. It's about where you will have the better experience. What little tweak could be made to make console gaming a little better. That little tweak would be Nintendo games on the other 2 consoles. You couldn't do it the other way around because games would suffer. However if you put Nintendo games on  more potent hardware they will look and run better hence give the better experience. Which also has the benefit of owning one less piece of plastic gathering dust.

You know this forum. If Nintendo announced that it would go 3rd party people would lose their shit because they're so happy. People who can only afford one console would be able to play all relevant games.

The way you're talking is as if you are condoning having to pay for multiple consoles and having so many different ecosystems. Which seems weird since it is pretty anti consumer. Much like the Steam, Uplay, Origin trinity on PC. People would love getting all the games for PC through the same service. I can't imagine why you are against such a thing.
