Kinda ironic isn't it?  PS4 wins 10 months straight and you believe it will win the US this gen. Then X1 wins 2 months straight and you believe the reverse. So if PS4 wins majority of the months this year, will you change your outcome yet again?  

You should use your alsome premonitory powers to invest in the stock market.

You cleary know better than a multi-billion dolar company.

Two things happened that I stupidly overlooked. 

1.) People on message boards and the internet do NOT make up the majority of sales. The Madden, Titanfall, COD and Halo crowd do. I always knew this, but somewhere along the line, probably due to overlooking my next point, I forgot all about it.

2.) Last generation owners did not upgrade in large numbers last year. Most US 360 owners waited until this holiday to come out of the woodwork and buy Xbox Ones. I didn't see that coming because... well, I don't know why. For some stupid reason, I assumed that people flock in the direction they're going to flock right out of the gates which was dumb.

The Xbox One was overpriced when it came out. I think what happened was that the average 360 consumer saw this, held back and decided to wait until it came down in price. When that happened, they bit. Now that it's pretty much going to stay $349.99, I predict a steady upgrading process in the US. The PS4 is going to do much better than the PS3, but not enough to hold ground.

TBH I am little surprised that it won in December. PS4 line of games for 2015 is pretty good already so I think it will do much better this year. During sales, holiday time Xbox generally does well. So they need to fend that off. But still I am predicting this year also PS4 will be most sold console in US

I said PS4 would outsell xbox during the regular year, even at a lower price point by 15k on average.

PS4 still dominate the US, even with XBO at 349,99$.

No matter what MS do they won't have US this gen.

PS4 will dominate... the gap will increase year after year.

2013 GAP: ~100k
2014 GAP: ~600k

The gap is increasing.

2015 GAP: ~120k
