Love the meltdowns. Edge ranks highly the games that perform excellently and are simply fun to play.

In that regard its nominees make perfect sence and the winner is just. There is no pandering to big name companies and advertisement campaigns. Yeah, Dragon age is awesome, but its also buggy and unoptimised. It deserves sales but it doesnt deserve GOTY as much as Bayonetta 2 does. Its alot like the Oscars dont go to the big super hero movies like "The avengers".
