Sounds alright. Would rather see Dark Souls II get the nod.

I'm not a fan of the Souls games; I'm more disappointed MK8 didn't get a nod. I would have nominated Tropical Freeze as well, but I always knew none of the critics would, as it doesn't fit the GOTY mould.

It also came out pretty long ago... for what it's worth Tropical Freeze was nominated for best platformer, but so was Shovel Knight, and as that also got a GOTY nod it'll probably win. Mario Kart is one of just three games nominated for best racer.
