ktay, this is stupid argument. Just because you can't read or speak a language on a fluent level doesn't mean you can't consume media in that language. I can enjoy Spanish or French music despite not knowing the language. Why can't I enjoy a game in Japanese with English subtitles?

Yeah, they need to give people real voices not caricatures. The fact that they managed to make Troy Baker sound bad speaks volumes. XII was great though. Fran's voice over still gives me chills. This is why I really want the guy who directed XII to do XVI, next time just he just needs to pay a bit more homage to the main franchises roots, not final fantasy tactics.

I don't like it. Sounds like the voices weren't properly directed for this trailer, I hope this time Square Enix dcides to make an Spanish translation though.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

You read the subtitles. Its just a case of disliking the english dub.  My brotheres never went back to watching Naruto in english once they watched an episode in Japanese, the quality of voice acting makes a big difference to how you feel the characters emotions. Even if you can't understand Japanese, you read the tone in their voices and it just sounds more natural for some

Also, I don't these are the English actors for the characters, isn't it? They sound out of place.
