That's not all of the story. I remember some ripoff Tomb Raider movies that they had to change to "Indiana Jonas" or something because of copyright concerns.
It really shows how much of a cultural treasure the TR games are. An inspiration for most people.

9 out of 10, eh? I bet you can't even name 47. I assume you're going to ignore the fact that both discs feature the "main character from behind looking over their shoulder" design, too. AND the fact that they're both rated "T" for "Teens". Such denial.
Also, the jeep isn't the coolest vehicle in the world but I wouldn't call it "square".
Well, sunset overdrive is a copy of infamous. :D Technically you could say both tomb raider and uncharted are copies of indiana jones. My point is the majority of games or movies are copies of something else.

@bolded: ZOMFG, didn't realise it before, but this means that Lego games too are blatant copies of Tomb Raider!!! :-O
