They've published a lot of great games this gen. Just Cause 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, and so on. Their Japanese output has been pretty awful though.

The rest was figures. The best of them all being Eidos games. I'm not misunderstanding the thread. You are trying to point out that SquEnix has indeed released lots of new titles and decent games? they may have but I used to really enjoy playing SquareSoft and even SquEnix games from PS1 to PS2 gen, I don't anymore and it's the lack of variety and faith the Japanese team that has put me off. FFT: War of Lions was just FFT but updated, so not a new IP.

Is this not what you were going for?

7th generation is like a dark age for most Japanese game publisher.

When PS4 dominate i believe the era of Renaissance will come for all Japanese developer.
