Where on the timeline will be Zelda U?

Original timeline (Between SS and OoT) 55 59.78%

Adult timeline 16 17.39%

Child timeline 7 7.61%

Defeated timeline 9 9.78%

It will be in Lorule (Not... 5 5.43%

Total:92

This Link is also right-handed, that only happened in Skyward Sword (and the Wii version of TP, but we can't use that since he was still left-handed in gamecube).

The sail cloth has no relevancy to any timeline. It's just fabric.

I hope they buck the timeline all together, honestly. The whole thing is stupid and restricting. Don't tie this one to any past game chronologically.

Right before the flood.

The end of the game will have Link eff something up and cause the world to flood

The world map is identical to Zelda 1. So my guess is around then, or the same time in a different timeline.

after zelda 1, before zelda 2

Right after Skyward Sword.

Pretty much this. So many signs point to this scenario. I mean, the sailcloth, the possibility of Link using fragments of timeshift stones to slowdown arrows in mid-air, the similar artstyle, etc.

Also, on the gamexplain video, we realize that the map contains lake hylia; and the bridge being intact shows the game is set before Twilight Princess, where it's in ruins.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Whoa. Mind = blown.

I'd say just change that Kokiri Forest name for something else since Kokiris are an Ocarina of Time thing (but it still seems to be the place where you start the game), and the unknown area could be Snowpeak.

yeah its definitely interesting to say the least

genuine question, who cares?

You clearly arent in the Zelda fanbase if you're asking that seriously.

It's really annoying for people to project they not caring for the timeline unto the entire fanbase, honestly.

The three biggest guesses right now:

After Skyward Sword (how wild everything is, showing that Hyrule is still young.

After Spirit Tracks in the emptied out Great Sea (would also explain everything being so new, and all the "high places")

After Zelda II (map similarities, probably the biggest Hyrule in the games.)

The whole "Zelda Timeline" idea is a fucking mess to begin with. Nintendo never ever should have cowed to certain vocal fans that insisted they create one, because quite frankly, there IS no "timeline" that makes any real sense, if you actually stop to try and think about it.

The games aren't all connected. They don't need to all be connected. That's why it's "The Legend of Zelda", because it's a Legend, being retold in various ways. *shrugs*

Whatever, I just care if the game lives up to even half it's hype. That'll be enough for me.
