I'd say the most "shockingly good" game was Hyrule Warriors. I haven't been that interested in a Zelda story maybe ever... It had lots of twists, villians, allies, and a good story progression overall. The gameplay was very fun and it did not turn grindy like I expected it to become. The visuals were pretty awesome, the art style was perfect for the setting... shoot I'm suddenly re-reviewing a game I already reviewed... I'll see myself out...
