I felt sad yo, because of the music.

I honestly didn't care that much about Aeris dying.. I felt a bit sad for a slight second, but that's about it...:/

It was a complete surprise for me and quite shocking. Up to that point, she'd been presented as the second most important character in the game. I believed without a doubt that she was the "main girl" and that she would end up being with Cloud. In Japanese media, Tifa's character, the childhood friend, is almost always the odd one out.

Of course, though it was indeed a powerful moment, I'd been pulling for Tifa from the start and I still think that she is one of the best characters in RPG history.

Yer I thought it was sad to lose a good character. I probably would have been pissed if I'd been using her, if i hadn't I played after the fact and known about it. I made sure to de-equip her weapons etc. lol, no point letting em go to waste.

tbh Tidus' was probably sadder, and I was sad to hear about Vivi. I'd always thought he'd survived at the end of 9

Yeah.. Vivi's death was much much sadder..

I was upset because I never thought a main character could die and of course because I liked Aerith as well. But I can see why some people may not connect so well with the characters.

The only thing that was sad that i lost the materia equipped to her.
