You don't love Kresnik anymore?

I swear I don't understand how some people think that remaking FF VII is a bad idea. It is a game that sold more than 10 million copies counting all the remasters and ports. It is a game that a lot of people who played the original, and others that wanted to play but couldn't bear through the graphics, wanted and still want to play. How is it better to actually develop a new game then remaking FF VII? Actually it would be like creating a new game, since it has been freaking 17 years since its release. Everything would be different, some things better, some worse, but different and interesting and hyped and would sell a lot if it was any good as a game, not if it was a good or bad FF VII remake. But I quit, I won't believe any more in the possibility of a remake. Enough is enough and now this announcement with that trailer just seemed like mocking from Square Enix. If FF XV is bad, then let SE die and just hope they release Eidos from their clutches.
