ScreamRide

Fable Legends

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Halo 5

Crackdown 3

Quantum Break

Right now I'm excited for Halo 5 and Crackdown 3. Though I'm probably not going to buy Halo 5 day one in case it ends up like MCC. Is this a good enough lineup to convince you to buy an XBO?

You should remove Rise of the Tomb Raider, it's coming to 360 and has already been confirmed by Phil Spencer that the deal has a duration.

Duration comment here:

Confirmed to be coming to 360:

Crackdown 3 isn't confirmed as a 2015 release, not by Microsoft or the developers anyway.

Scream Ride will also be coming to 360:

Nothing in that line-up is enough to make me want an XB1, I already have a PS4, it has the better 2015 line-up as far as I'm concerned and as my next 8th gen console the Wii U has way more games in 2015 that make me want it over an Xbox One, like Starfox, Zelda, Xenoblade, Splatoon, especially combining that with the games already on the system.

Money is also a real concern next year, as well as size of the library, Wii U is a much cheaper system and it has many more games that I'd like.

PS4 has something like 20 true exclusives that I'd like next year, plus all of the multiplats I'll be playing on PS4 because they run best there and all of my friends are on PS4 too.

I mostly agree with you about the games, but not about the price.  At least, not in the US.  An XB1 could be had this Black Friday for as little as $279 with two games, and XB1 has had a lot of deals to get games for cheap.  Nintendo keeps their big games at full price.

I live in the UK, so Wii U is pretty cheap here, with a game. People look to buy one cheap can get an 8GB model, cheap HDD and Smash for like £200 on Amazon. Black Friday deals were pretty awesome for the XB1, next year will probably be even better. Prices always depend on where you are of course, games can on occassion be had for a lot cheaper, though things like the Marios and such like you say can be pretty high for the amount of time they've been out.

Over here Xenoblade on the Wii was a rare item for a long time, you could probably buy a couple of Wii's 2nd hand for the price of that game.

What PS3 ports are coming to PS4 in 2015?

Just off the top of my head, Godzilla and USF IV. There are others too, but I am not going to bother doing your own homework. The point is your definition of exclusive and your acceptance of lists of said exclusives seems to vary wildly based on what system is on the receiving end.

Persona 5 too.

Nope I actually put in brackets after the name of that game that it was on PS3, I'm not surprised about these lapses in reading comprehension.

What are you going on about? All I said was Persona 5 is on PS3 too, what are you getting so worked up about?

As far as software libraries go Wii U is the perfect complament to a PS4, the fact that the gamer buying that system doesn't have to pay for online, there's a lot more exclusives on it and the system is much cheaper than XB1, it all really adds up to Wii U getting much bigger sales in 2015 based on all of these things.

WiiU will be the perfect compliment to my Xbox One. Im not even going to touch your lol worthy opinions about Xbox.

The fact you've commented at all being an XBox One owner already means you didn't even read or grasp my points. I'm speaking about gamers that either don't yet have an 8th generation console, have a 7th gen machine and have been considering getting a new console, they're going to look at the games that interest them. If a platform has all of the 3rd party titles, more exclusives (PS4) or just a great exclusive library altogether (Wii U) then it's going to be either of those systems that will interest them.

For existing PS4 owners Wii U is the system with the line-up of games that best compliments PS4 and the fact you don't have to pay for online, plus you can get the system considerably cheaper than an XB1 it only supports my points.

My comment was about gamers that haven't yet bought and XB1, the existing owners are the early adopters, the whole point about a comment about system sellers is that those games are moving hardware, Wii U and PS4 have more. I'm not shocked that my comments touched a nerve of an XB1 owner, but the whole point of my comment was to look at the hardware sales potential from the POV of people that don't yet have an XB1 and what reasons they may have, if any to buy an XB1.

Yep you don't know what you are talking about. What about the new owners? 2 3 months ago? It's selling and there are a ton of games with variety that haven't been played by new comers. You've made this your thread by trying to push such a bias opinion it's blinding.

I know exactly what I'm talking about thanks, I was dealing with people that haven't yet bought a current generation platform, the whole point was talking about system sellers, in order to be a system seller, you have to have a console to sell.

I'm not an XB1 owner, so why would I be talking about those games from the perspective of an XB1 owner?

It's not bias to be talking about all of this stuff from my own position, if I was an XB1 owner already then of course I'd by those games that interest me. It is bias of you to insist that everyone that hasn't yet bought an XB1 must buy one because you insist they must like it and they can't disagree with you.

God you people are ridiculous, trying to turn everything into a fanboy war and bombarding someone when they have a difference of opinion to your own. I haven't tried to make this thread my own at all. If you don't want a reply, then don't reply to someone's comment.

All I did was ask the OP why he hasn't listed the games he's making his thread about, the retail exclusives for XB1, now he could get his title altered to more accurately reflect the topic he's trying to make, which is Xbox Exclusives, because if you're trying make a topic about XB1 retail exclusives, then it's Halo 5, Fable Legends and Quantum Break that you're talking about, the other games are something else.

If you make a topic about a line-up of exclusives, then you should expect comparisons to be made with competing platforms, especially when you ask people about their opinion that line-up of games.

It's selling now. Right now. This is nothing and i mean absolutely nothing but your opinion. That's why you don't know what you are talking about. You can't see into the future or know why millions of people buy the system of choice in the future yet here you are trying your hardest. Keep trying.

Me and im sure a bunch of other ppl the WiiU will compliment my Xbox well enough. No matter what you keep trying to convince others.

I've said it time and time again I'm not talking about existing XB1 owner, they're not likely to buy multiple XB1's, unless they're buying one for another room in their home or they have another home. Actually read right down to the end of this and comprehend what I'm writing before making another knee jerk response.

As for the system's sales, it's selling now because of the price factor or the crazy holiday deals, coupled with some new releases (be they mulitplats or the odd remaster or an exclusive), those deals most likely fall away in the regular sales times of the year.

The price cut was meant to be temporary, so once that goes or the crazy deals disappear that incentive isn't there, if it stays then it'll affect the baseline in a positive way, but you need new exclusives to keep the sales constantly in a better position and those aren't coming for months next year. With the lack of a library building up the XB1's roster of content people can't get elsewhere until far into the year it's not reaching in the slightest to think that people who don't yet have an 8th gen console will be looking at all factors, they'll look at the wider picture and what systems have the games they want, it's completely logical to think that there being new exclusives coming all the time to Wii U and PS4 will mean those system will gain more interest and in PS4's case they don't have to miss out on the mulitplats.

This is speaking from the perspective of someone that hasn't yet bought a current generation console.

As for existing XB1 owners, if you're getting all of your multiplats on that system then obviously it's just going to depending on which exclusive library of games suits your tastes as to which other 8th gen console you're going to get, if you want another system.

I haven't once said that XB1 isn't worth buying, just that it doesn't have enough games for me to buy one next year, being that I play the multiplats on PS4, so I'm looking at exclusives and which line-up interests me, which line-up has the most for me to sink my teeth into.

You realise that you missed the entire earlier part of that conversation right?

This was my reply to that person:

"I say the same for PS4 actually, if I'm making a list of the line-up games on the platform then I'll always single out the ones that are also coming to PS3 or Vita, mentioning that fact. If I'm talking about exclusives, then I'll leave the games out that are going to release on other platforms and if I happen to miss something and include it by mistake and someone was to point my mistake out then I'd edit my original post to make it clear that the game wasn't an outright platform exclusive.

I'm no hypocrit thanks, I have standards when I write my posts, I don't just try to make out like something is something that it isn't."

Another year, another easy win X1.

Another year, another easy win X1.

I'm getting Rise Of The Tomb Raider, Quantum Break and Halo 5.

Quantum Break looks really good but one game isn't enough to buy a XOne for. And Tomb Raider i might get when it releases on PS4 though probably a used copy, SE isn't getting my money.

Wow... that list is tiny, at least they're good games though. Though if I was going to buy an Xbox for anything it'd be for the MCC as I haven't played the earlier halo's. None of these games make me want to buy an Xbox more than that game. Still won't be getting one anytime soon.

It's a good job you didn't include digital for the sake of the Xbox.

P.S can we have a phantom crash remake/reboot please.
