Forums - Sony Discussion - Valkyria Chronicles *New Photos* Watermelon Yummies...

@smbu

How filthy minded of you, well done :D

Around the Network

This article is still full of fail, as the japanese name always was Valkyria Battlefield.
Only stupid translaters that think they know japanese better than Japanese themselves thought otherwise. BTW, that's not the only game with problems like that.
This game makes me think more and more about Fire Emblem style, even if it looks like it's still mostly a strategy game. So not for me, but interesting, as it seems like there's more character development than I thought initially.

damn, I was really misled by the "watermelon yummies" in the title. They are there, but not what I was expecting. haha ;-p

Lol...that was the idea.  I thought I could mislead a few people into my thread :)

As the arguing begins... Ug!

yeah, that's true, I have no interest in picking a fight in a thread of a PS3 exclusive game I'm quite interested in. So I shall be the better man and stop it here.

I liked the art-work, but I would prefer to see more gameplay

Go to gametrailers. They've got a few videos that have gameplay on it. Best I can tell it's a lot like "Future Tactics uprising" with a cover system.

Future Tactics core gameplay ruled.  Just it's characters, stor and upgrade system sucked.

This game was a total surprise to me, I'd not heard a single tidbit of it before I saw the first video! It looks stunning, I'm glad there are dev's who yet dare to go original and artsy rather than just plain realistic.
And, let's face it; making realistic games can be way to costly for many smaller companies, forcing them to take cool and different venues in their direction and programming!

that watermelon looks tasty.

I love the art style, I need to see more of the gameplay though. Anyone got some vids to embed for the game?

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

I would eat her watermelon.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
