Not sure what Obamacare does for everyone else, but all I know is that when I started at my job in 2008 I was paying $35/week for Family Medical coverage.

Now i'm paying $81/week.

What's crazy though is that plenty of people tell me: "That's actually a good rate these days".

Must be europeans voting to think he actually is sucessful

he screwed our hp care system

which was the last straw
I saw potential for him in 2008 but he failed hard

Well, I tend towards libertarianism, so... no, there has been no success. Other than to say that, I think it's clear both major parties are basically the same, and I feel like more people than ever finally grasp that.

He hasn't achieved much or anything of what he wanted to achieve, so from that perspective he was not a very successful President. But then it was a lesson that a President without a compliant Congress has little real power to achieve much. And his Democratic party in Congress is so scared really push a progressive agenda that there is almost no way any democratic President can hope to have a compliant congress even if the Democrats hold a majority in both houses, and even a fillibuster-proof majority in the Senate.

Ironically Republicans should probably see these last 8 years as a success. So while they have been opponents of the president they should consider that he's been successful for them by being unsuccessful for his own party/ideology.

your healthcare system is just screwed up and no party has the power to change it because the voters are hating the goverment to much.

i pay 75€/month for our socialist healthcare, and im fully covered in a good working healthcare system.

It's funny, my life is going pretty good right now all things considered, and overall better than during the Bush years... but I can't stand Obama, and IMO he's a worse president than Bush Jr.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

The price of gas, the level of shrinking unemployment, the healthcare reform, the increase in American exports, the record breaking American auto sales, the stock market. I don't expect one man to solve all problems, but if we are comparing the stability of the country compared to the end of the Bush administration (I know that not asking for much but still), he could have done worse. There are still things we need to do, but the country is definitely in better shape so I have to say yes, his presidency was a success.

George Bush left this country in shambles. By virtue of the extreme situation he was handed, he did well.
