I haven't noticed a lot of the issues you're talking about, what are you playing it on? Also I have to completely disagree on your opinion of the story. I think its really good and the war table/power makes it seem more real because you have to build up the inquisitions power before taking on this evil godlike entity.

PS4. And I respectfully disagree. There are a lot of other examples show how poor the story telling is imo, but I think I made my point clear with one example.

-The lack of day-night cycle and dynamic weather systems. such features are important for games that aims to make the world as immersive as possible like Dragon Age.

While I can understand some of your issues (to me they aren't), this one is odd. First, it has them to a point. In one area, I did a mission and it changed the weather there, instead of rain and dull, it was sunny. But in reality, each area has it's own weather giving that feeling to it and I personally don't like games that add a day night thing just because it can, it's usually just an hour or something. A bit pointless.

Hmm, pie.

Dynamic light and weather system simulate reiality, as in you can see the sun in the sky moving untill it sets, the same place would look and feel different when you visit it during a diffreint time of day / different weather, which makes the world fell much more alive. Yes there are differeint differeint pre-backed weather and time for different areas which is good-ish. but nowhere near as interesting and ambitious.

Addition pro

- The big variety in environments.

I see your points, even if I don't agree. But half of my current thinking is "This is so much better than DA2."

Hmm, pie.

"Below average graphics"

I just want to understand this, what is good graphics and average graphics to you, if this is below average to you ... i think you have HUGE graphic standarts.

Maibe its me and i need to go to the doctor get my eyes checked.

True. My average is the best on the consoles at the moment ( PS4 ) like Infamous and Killzone. I do recognize that DA is much bigger and has variety in the environments in addition to being cross-gen . The landscapes and art are beautiful , When I say graphics I mean the details on the textures, the characters models and the overall fluidity, taking into conederation the issues like frame-rates dips and pop-ins.

You are fine

Ah.. I see your problem. You're on a console.

Go PC please, and make sure it can handle the max settings. Then maybe your complaint will vanish. :)

I've got nothing but praise to say about the PC graphics. As long as your rig can handle it, it's a really gorgeous ride.

It is just one aspect that I care about, it is not a major issue for me. Even on PC, I don't think that something like undetailed character models and aminations would be improved... I'd imagine.

You must have hated dark souls then .

My favorite game of all time actually.

The technical side is only one aspect, not a major thing for me unless it is game breaking. As you can see, it is only one point out of many I mentioned.

As someone who never played a DA game, would this be a good place to jump in?

Nope, it's properly handled. Trust me.

Prior to this game, I had a computer with an i5 and GTX760 in it. I could only handle high settings. The game forced me to upgrade on the spot so I can see the max settings. Boy, the difference is awesome. I get 0 framerate drops (60 at all times), a whole lot more particle effects and better textures across the board.

Trust me, if you want to see the real Dragon Age, go for PC. It'll kick your PC's ass though, if it isn't strong enough.
