I want them to take a break from mainline Pokemon games. We could use a good spinoff for a change.

Plus it gives me time to enjoy XY & ORAS more!

New IP would be nice, getting bored of pokemon

Pokemon Z. Dont want that many remakes with the X/Y engine. Or maybe even a spiritual successor to Pokemon. To be honest, Im sure thats what they'll make once Pokemon ends

A non-traditional Pokemon game. On the Wii U. Open world and a different battle system. Start small. Don't put in all 700+ Pokemon into the game. Just start with the original 150 and work your way up. I just think this would be a good way to introduce a new way to play Pokemon without introducing more Pokemon.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

I'm guessing we will see Pokemon X2/Y2 for holiday 2015 for 3DS, then 2016 will be an off year (launch year of next-gen handheld), holiday 2017 will be Gen 7 for the new handheld and will feature similar visuals to Ni No Kuni for PS3.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Either make a main Wii U Pokémon game (I don't care if it is based off an earlier region or has no new Pokémon) or make a new franchise.

The Wii U game should be a huge open world and to cut back on dev costs and time maybe only include the original 150 Pokémon. Battles should still be turn based but all the attacks should be well animated. If you use surf you should actually see the Pokémon's model (this does mean that they'd have to scrap a lot of Pokémon's ability to learn surf because it doesn't make sense that a zigzagoon can carry you over water lol). Same goes for fly (soar ability). There wouldn't be any random encounters anymore, instead you can see wild Pokémon run in the grass and you have to sneak up on them if you want to battle. Also make the whole world feel more alive with a good night and day system, dynamic weather based on real life seasons, etc.

Make a decent engine.

This. They suck in this department, I bet it wouldn't happend until next-gen HH.

They should get some rest, it's only fair. I would love for there to be an HD pokemon for Wii U though. But that wont' happen. I see it in my head but it's only an idea that Gamefreak will never do.

Yeah, we'll have to be patient till Nintendo makes a HH that is powerful enough to make the Pokémon game I want. I hope the next HH is as powerful as the PS3, but knowing Nintendo it will be slightly weaker than the Wii or something lol. Ok, maybe not that weak...

I'm also getting tired of Pokémon's battle system and how easy it is. I want more exploration and puzzles. Make this as hard as Metroid and Zelda please! And change the battle system so it uses the bottom screen in a creative way. Just look at Youkai Watch, that looks like a fun battle system (haven't played it obviously, so maybe I will end up not liking it, who knows...). Also give us an option to speed up Pokémon battles like in Bravely Default.
