Lolll, if this was an actual issue... Why the tits is he filing this lawsuit a year later... Good luck in court m8, you are gonna need it

And really? He had to undergo surgery for this? Yea, okay there. It sure sounds like to me that he is.... Acting..... Yar har har

Shouldn't be hard to prove that he had a real heart surgery and the causes.

Yea, it should be interesting to see how it turns out but my point was that, I highly doubt that this was the cause of his surgery if he had one... If anything, he had a heart condition before or it was due to something that happened after it and he is too poor to pay for all the bills. And I am also pretty sure that if this was the issue, he would have felt something during the job and I somehow doubt that he is that dedicated enough to chose a Donkey Kong custom over his life, and this would have been a thing last year

Shame on Nintendo if true, shame on him if not.

Seems fishy that he waited a year to file the suit though...

This is the country where cases happen like, a robber broke and entered into some family's house and got stuck in their garage for 3 days, then sued the family over not having their garage door up to fire regulations, and won.

It'll be interesting to see what happens, but I think Nintendo or some insurance is more likely to settle than have some big legal battle.

Exactly... Im not a Nintendo fan, but even I call this one a trial to squeek out some money from a big company.

maybe it took him some time till he was able to drink again.you cant expect someone to talk to a lawyer if he is sober, thats just inhuman.

You could say that he suffered a strong case of jungle fever and went totally bananas.

I don't really understand why people are making a fuss about the timing. Was he supposed to run out the day after heart surgery and file a brief on his own?

When a suit is filed has no bearing on anything, as long as it's within the applicable window. No competent lawyer is going to initiate a case until they've done all the groundwork: evidence compiled, affidavits obtained, damages tabulated, and experts retained. It's not like they file, THEN worry about building a case.

The timing means nothing to the validity of the claim.

I researched aortic dissection a bit and I'm pretty sure this man just wants some money for his operation or he is absolutely oblivious to what causes it.
It is caused most often by preexisting conditions and might be triggered by high blood pressure. Fun fact though, heat actually lowers blood pressure and as such would lower the risk of this injury. I would be interested if he can actually prove that this was caused by his work on that day.
