Destiny was pretty buggy day 1, and the crucible mose is downright pitiful compared to MCC multiplayer. Once the issues are fixed (and they mostly are), I think it'll be no competition. |
What?? What bugs? Destiny was playable day one. MCC almost a month into release people still can't get into games and if they do its unbalanced. Destiny launch was way way way way way better than MCC.
You are comparing 4 games to one game in the series? Of course it is going to be the best but 343i fucked up badly.

Yeah, cause Destiny didn't have a day 1 patch or anything to fix all the issues that players found, orm atchmaking issues with PSN.
Also, while playable, Destiny's issues go far beyond just bugs. The entire gameplay model and story is shallow, and that it unrecoverable from.

We arent talking about story or gameplay. We are talking about the game being playable. Destiny was playable DAY ONE..MCC not so much. How many patches is it for MCC now? 4? and still cant get it to work. Never had any of those issues with Destiny. Now MCC im lucky to get into a game in every 30 min. That's unacceptable.

Singleplayer worked almost perfectly, and I can play multiplayer flawlessly for the most part now. With Destiny, they gave false hope to a lot of fans that the game would be more, including me. Pre-ordered it only to realize that match-making is terrible (still none for raids. Really?), drops were broken (the game was pretty much unplayable for a while just because of this), loot caves were abundant, and updates cancelled out player upgrades (like the recent ones). Not to mention the complete and utter lack of story and content other than grinding and dinklebot.
So yes, I believe that MCC is more playable than Destiny. Perhaps not at the start, but now it is much more enjoyable (for me, at least).

You need to know that Expectations & Enjoyment =/= Playability ...

When did I say that MCC was playable day 1? It wasn't, but saying that Destiny was perfect would be a mssive overstatement. Destiny had plenty of matchmaking issues and balancing issues.
For me, one month after the realease of MCC, MCC is more playhable. Why? I'm locked out of an entire mode (raids) in Destiny just because I can't put together 6 people willing to spend a few hours doing a mission. For me, that mode is completely unplayable, while I can play any of the modes in MCC with little to no trouble now. Nothing to do with expectations and enjoyment and everything to do with Bungie's insistence on not working on the matchmaking to make it more accessible.
What I consider to be "playable" is simply vastly different than what you believe, I suppose. Yes, 343 screwed up big time by releasing MCC multiplayer incomplete, but it has gotten leaps and bounds better, while Destiny has left me with shattered expectations and hasn't fixed it. That's why I included it in the OP- not because it had game breaking glitches, but because it is a lackluster game that will remain lackluster, no matter what happens. MCC could at least be improved.

Except at that time a lot of the customers weren't annoyed about it in the end compared to MCC ...

Then try to get 6 people that are willing to do a raid. It's hardly the game's issue since that falls to the responsibility of the players. I'm glad to hear that you aren't having any issues with MCC but I wonder about others. It's got everything to do with expectations and enjoyment since this is almost all about your experience with the game.

Your definition of "playable" equates to enjoyment. Everyone else believes it to be about functionality or whether the code can be compiled. If you believe Destiny to be lack luster then I guess that's the end of it. Just because you don't like the mechanics doesn't mean that it's not or less playable than a particular game with some serious technical issues ...
