Not gonna argue this any further. We have differing ideas on what makes a game playable and whatnot, and for me the simple fact that MCC is mostly fixed and is getting better every week is good enough. I don't find a game with no matchmaking options for important modes (I'm a college student, I have little time to scout out other players and set time aside to play raids with them) to be playable, since by definition I'm completely and frustratingly locked out. I play randomly whenever I have some time, and according to Bungie that's not good enough, and it's the same problem with thousands of other players.

If you have no problem with things like that, good on you. We simply happen to differ in some opinions. Goodbye and good day.

I didn't bring in the opinions here, that's on you ...

And? You have a pretty roundabout way of saying you disagree.

We don't agree on something. I admit it. I try to move on. You bait me again. What is it you want, exactly?

Singleplayer worked almost perfectly, and I can play multiplayer flawlessly for the most part now. With Destiny, they gave false hope to a lot of fans that the game would be more, including me. Pre-ordered it only to realize that match-making is terrible (still none for raids. Really?), drops were broken (the game was pretty much unplayable for a while just because of this), loot caves were abundant, and updates cancelled out player upgrades (like the recent ones). Not to mention the complete and utter lack of story and content other than grinding and dinklebot.

So yes, I believe that MCC is more playable than Destiny. Perhaps not at the start, but now it is much more enjoyable (for me, at least).

You need to know that Expectations & Enjoyment =/= Playability ...

When did I say that MCC was playable day 1? It wasn't, but saying that Destiny was perfect would be a mssive overstatement. Destiny had plenty of matchmaking issues and balancing issues.

For me, one month after the realease of MCC, MCC is more playhable. Why? I'm locked out of an entire mode (raids) in Destiny just because I can't put together 6 people willing to spend a few hours doing a mission. For me, that mode is completely unplayable, while I can play any of the modes in MCC with little to no trouble now. Nothing to do with expectations and enjoyment and everything to do with Bungie's insistence on not working on the matchmaking to make it more accessible.

What I consider to be "playable" is simply vastly different than what you believe, I suppose. Yes, 343 screwed up big time by releasing MCC multiplayer incomplete, but it has gotten leaps and bounds better, while Destiny has left me with shattered expectations and hasn't fixed it. That's why I included it in the OP- not because it had game breaking glitches, but because it is a lackluster game that will remain lackluster, no matter what happens. MCC could at least be improved.

How is Bungie's fault that you can't get 6 people together to play a game? Go on Gamefaqs and get some gamertags like everybody else. I don't know if you've actually attempted to play MCC with friends but it's a gigantic shitshow. Takes a dozen tries just to get into the same lobby, then you have to hope to God you can find a match without it disconnecting one of you. When you finally do get into a match you're almost always on different teams. Try playing Co-op campaign and good luck beating a single mission with all the disconnects and lag.

MCC is not in a playable state. It has yet to be in a playable state and I've pretty much shelved the game until 343 gets their shit together. If they ever do.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Its a game collection not a new franchise entry. 343 isint Bungie as much as they wish they were.

I wonder ...

Would Bungie have done a better job than 343 would have for MCC ...

I don't think it matters because Microsoft would have still demanded for it to release in the holidays even in an unfinished state.

Your going to pin this as being Microsoft's fault ?

Eh? I'd split the fault. 343 clearly failed but Microsoft should have at least delayed the game until was ready. Maybe they didn't have enough resources because of Halo 5, I don't know what went on with the development of the game. All I know is that when a broken game is released, the fault lies with the publisher and the developer.

Matchmaking is the most basic functionality of any online shooter. Yes, I blame them for not having it in one of the most important game modes.

And like I've said before, I'm a busy college student. I spontaneously decide to play whenever I have the time, I can't set a schedule for me and 5 other random people to get together and play.
