Nintendo fans only please...but I have no way of knowing the truth if you vote so knock your socks off.

I say Sony cause they seem to have a healthy respect for Nintendo.

Playstation was started by nintendo, then Sony with playstation tried to over take nintendo by forming their own system, What do you mean they have a healthy respect for them? if they did they would have never made there own system.

Sony almost took out nintendo and tried to with everything they had.

As for the poll, let me make it easy

Always Sony then XBOX. Always! No need to poll, the fans will always come in and vote for their favorite and this site is a Sony site.

you wrong!!!!!!!!!!

Playstation start with Nintendo and SONY, both was in a good term untill some un agreement came and broke their good intention to bring Video games into mainstream level, blame that to Nintendo who still want use a catridge for the media.

Unlike Xbox who exist to crush SONY solely by try to dominate home enterteinment system even they already dominate on software market.

All the of the consoles want to crush the other, Are you kidding me, it's a corporation, not a monk running the show. At the end of the day it's about profits.

All of them exists to crush the other and Sony used Nintendo to get where they are at, without Nintendo, there would be no Playstation.

they aren't   monk agree with u but simply healty competition is good, look what Microsoft almost did they almost ate Nintendo by Bilgates visiting the owner on nintedo back then, they almost buy Nintendo that what i dont like from a capitalist. I dont mind if it's competion but what they did so far Xbox (buying third party so anyone cannot play on other system platform hell yeah). oh dont say about PS2 Domination and their exclusivity, having more then 60% on market deserve to get more exclusive.

PS4.

Right out of the gate Microsoft advertised their platform as a media device for everyone and exhibited a disturbing desire to shape how we all interact with our games whether we like it or not. Right out of the gate Sony advertised their platform as a game system that plays games for gamers, and exhibited their desire to have the best damn development platform possible.

Regardless of what games they have lined up and what they've been trying to do to put a band-aid on the situation, I feel that Microsoft only wants to damage the industry at our expense, as per Western corporate philosophy. Sony isn't perfect either, but for the most part they just want to make games and sell them to us. For our sakes I hope PS4 wins.

Thats kind of what Sony did with the PS2, have we already forgotten? The Gamecube was panned for only being a gaming device while the PS2 sold on the fact that it was advertised as a multi media device, even if games were still first. Seriously, back then everyone was convinced that gaming devoted devices were a thing of the past, you could argue they are, but the way Xbox One was treated, I wouldn't say so. Had Microsoft launched something like the XO back then it would have sold gangbusters, same goes if Nintendo had launched something like the GC now, but hey times change and I love contrasting the difference in consumer mentality (yes, this was quite off topic).

I would say the XONE!
Because Sony fans are irritating me.
and i love supporting the underdog. (sinne XONE got soooooooooooooooooooo much hate before it released)

Im not sure you know what an underdog means...

isnt it someone or something which people thinks that has a little chance of winning?

Its usually someone unknown or seen as not capable that beat the odds. A multi billion dollar company is never really an underdog.

Oh really?

Damn! Im using that word wrong  lol

Pocky Lover Boy!

Hmm, X1 or PS4?..

My vote will have to go for

video games as a medium

In other words

I hope it's neck and neck

If sony could buy up all 3rd party with out going broke or hurting it's bottom line, it would, same with all of the others. Not sure you understand business. Competition is healthy for the consumer/worker, not the business.

This is why we made Monopolies Illegal because all business would do it in a heartbeat and actually are trying to do it as we speak. Very few business own certain markets.  look at Comcast, if they could wipe out everyone else and give us horrible service for ungodly prices they would.

You've got a point, but I think it's pretty different this time around.  Really all the PS2 did was play DVD's.  At the end of the day even if they were driving sales because of that, it was still mostly playing games, and their corporate philosophy was (and still seems to be) just "make and sell games".  Microsoft demanded that we use a Kinect with our system even if we didn't want to, tried to literally force us into having an internet connection, and wanted to basically abolish the ability to play used games.  On top of that add the fact that they forced an OS on us that's built for touch screens despite the fact that we're not using it with a touch screen, simply because that's where the industry is going, and because they wanted to literally hinder our navigation so they could stick ads in our faces at every opportunity.  They apparently have the intense desire literally to govern how we play games; they've tried to actually get in between us and our games in various ways.

And that's what's disturbing to me.  I feel like it doesn't compare to anything the industry's ever seen.  I would never get on a person's case for buying an Xbone, but I'd be lying if I said the idea of people still buying one after all of that scares the hell out of me.

I would choose Sony cause their platform usually has the best jrpgs!

The combination of Wiiu and PS4 is great for JRPGs..  Xenoblade likely will be on the the greatest and in the future PS4 should offer a nice variety.

but they (SONY) didn't they let 3rd party as a third party and invest more on their studio, the funy thing is while Sony had a lot Square Enix stock at 6th generation and it continue until 2013, they let Square Enix Final Fantasy 13 slip to Xbox 360.

I say competition is good, if you know science you  understand about how animal kingdom work, you can compete if their is a competion, but if you monopolize buy exterminate everything there will be no competition and there will be no improvement.

Xbox One cause it has games. I've never been into Sony exclusives, but I dig what Microsoft has. I just wonder if the XO will make a PS3 type of comeback.

Xone won't have a come back like ps3. The situation was different, ps3 managed to come back thanks to the 299$ slim model, and because playstation is the most popular brand in the world. Once the Price was ok, but still higher than 360, the ps3 started to outsell 360. Back on games, ps4 has already great games and will have a stellar lineup in 2015, the gap in the global will increase. If you prefer titanfall to unfamous ss, or Halo collection to the last of us, don't say x1 has the games, you look childish and biased.  It's a Matter of taste for the exclusives, while multiplatform games are better on ps4.

PS4, more powerful console and more/better exclusives.
