I think firstly they need to move as far away from Fifa as possible. The days of competition is over, they're just getting obliterated.

Secondly there would have to be a benefit regarding exclusivity. I think it could help rebrand the franchise and cause some commotion but otherwise being PS exclusive isn't going to offer them much, I'm sure porting to xbox isn't that costly.

i'm saying that the sales from a PS4/PS3 bundle would be higher than the total sales they get on the X1 and 360. Ya get me now? 

Trying to imagine the the reason why Konami would consider this:

Pro:
1. Developing time may be reduced if focused for one console. (Could save Konami money)
2. Employees & resources may be shifted to add custom in-game features, better graphics, AI R&D, or they could be laid off & consolidated (the latter could save Konami money)
3. Title could Receive a bump in media exposure for exclusivity rights. (I've noticed this effect has happened on previous titles gone exclusive)
4. Can't think of anything else, but if anyone is willing to partake, please do.

Cons:
1. Loss of market share. (Risk of alienating your niche fan-base in your previously supported console)
2. Loss in sales. (Less revenue & A less diversified portfolio)
3. Negative PR could offset any positive spin Konami unleashes.
4. That's all i could come up with... anyone share add more if they like.

OP is also welcomed to steal this and modify this in anyway it it so chooses.

Add this in for pro #4:

The bundle Sony gives in return for exclusivity gains them more sales than the Xbox will give them in total. 

This then nullifies your #1 and #2 con. 

More sales and the positive marketing nulifies #3 con.

Traditional sport games are the kind of games more profitable being multiplat. I'm still confused the lack of a port for the Wii U. Take the PS360 version, don't use the tablet thing and voilá. I'm sure it wouldn't be expensive at all.

it's sold 20,000 copies on X1 vs 260,000 copies on the PS4.

it's sold 30,000 copies on the 360 vs 200,000 on the PS3. 

Wii U sales would be horrible. At this point Konami would be better off trading Sony exclusivity in return for a 1 month bundle. 

As long as the production is cheap, low sales can make profits. And there is no FIFA to compete against.

PES is usually more popular than Fifa on Nintendo systems and now that Fifa isnt on the WiiU, they should release it.

Are you not listening to my wise words? They would gain more sales on the PS4 than they would lose from the X1. How hard is it to comprehend that's a net win. And PES is actually a better game than FIFA now it's just gone into relative obsecurity especially in the UK. A bundle would force it into a lot of new PS4 owners hands and they will discover that's actually a great game. (again). Please tell me you get this at last...

Pretty much.  I can't see how this would benefit Konami, and I can't see Sony bothering with chasing it as an exclusive when they have the much bigger game, Fifa, selling well on their platforms.  Sony doesn't need PES.  

Yeah I agree with what someone else said here, maybe they should maybe make custom PES Wii U versions.  EA is done with Nintendo platforms pretty much.  I suppose they can approach Nintendo for some deals for Wii U and 3DS development.  They wont sell much, but it'd be Nintendo footing the bill anyway, and it may help Nintendo out in Europe....a bit.
