Im going back to the point where i cant believe these numbers. 700k for ps4? Im callibg over tracked, i just cant believe how massive these numbers are.

its believable if major sales are from Europe because its doing excellent there and we have boost for PS4 with titles like GTA V, FC4, DR I and LBP3 in this week.

I just dont see it. Not even the wii posted numbers this massive. A 750k~ week would be considered good for a bf week, now ps4 is doing it in nov on a none bf week

The Wii had 560k in the comparable week in 2010, with absolutely 0 major releases for it in the prior several weeks. Besides that, the PS4 has actually been outselling the Wii's 2010 year, which is when it sold mega #'s the entire holiday.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Very pleased by the US numbers given so far. The X1 barely sold more than the PS4. If the price cut does not stick after the holidays I am pretty sure the PS4 will jump back to the US sales lead.

You know that MS cannot continue to give away Xone at 200$(value into Bundle) and free games. Once the price is back to standard in NA,
PS4 will jump ahead again. Just my 2 cents.

PS4 comletely dominating. Will be interesting to see the sales in December when Europe and ROW gets huge boosts like the US has been enjoying recently.

I want to believe the numbers, but we all know they consistently change after the fact. We wait and see as always.

I know Xbone numbers are overtracked last weeks in US.

Now I believe PS4 numbers are overtracked too.

Said that the PS4 + GTAV + TLOUR bundle is to dominated the Black Friday like no other bundle.

Where do u know that from?
Do u work for the NPD group?
Who gave u that numbers?

Nintendo just need to accept as soon as possible that WiiU is considered a second purchase console, at best, and price it accordingly. More of 250$ is too much when most people are expecting to spent their money on PS4/XBO or better PC's...., WiiU should be a cheap alternative to PS4/XBO with a price under 200$ in my opinion.

This. I've been saying this like a broken record.

yeah, i sense some significant overcompenstation in these numbers.  wii did 673k on black friday in the equivalent holiday and vgcz expects me to believe ps4 did 734k the week before black friday.  GTA is big but not that big.  i think we're over by 100k+ this week.  i could believe ~500k but not 734k.

500k seems right to me too.

The issue started with VGC overtracking by a good margin Xbone numbers in US... now the numbers are so high that they needs to show PS4 at 734k to compensate.

My personal estimate.

Week Ending Nov 8th
Xbone: ~380k
PS4: ~450k

Week Ending Nov 15th
Xbone: ~300k
PS4: ~400k

Week Ending Nov 22th
Xbone: ~350k
PS4: ~550k

The PS4 is undertracked a lot before November... so the lifetime seems to be ok... the issues are the weeks in November.

Just referring to keeping the $50 price cut. It seems strange to only have it for two months here in the US. The sale has always made me wonder that MS might keep the $50 price reduction on the X1 after the holidays if it improved their sales enough to justify continuing it.  Not referring to other changes resulting from bundles, or retailers choosing to further lower the price for Black Friday.

If these numbers are true, makes sense that Sony aren't panicking. they are selling great nonetheless

From MS PR spin.

VGC had Xbone at 80 the last week of October... using the MS PR spin you have a little over 3 times the last week numbers to 10 days counting after November 2nd.

So it is 240k (a little more but I will use 240k) sold between 2nd and 12nd... this include big launch games in 2nd (CoD + pricecut) and 11th (Halo, Unity).

So my personal prediction is ~180k in US for the first week (2nd to 9th) and 60k for the init of the second week (10th to 12nd).

VGC had 260k for the first week alone.

The US numbers for Xbone are ahead PS4 but it is nowhere close to 100k per week lol... even MS PR spin deny that.
