You are completely right.  I have absolutely no clue why Microsoft doesn't snatch up these studios before they close down.  Its a shame really to see people lose their jobs when the second richest company sits back and shells out 2.5 billion dollars on a game thats already out!

I am all for new and interesting games even though I wouldn't get the chance to play them since I game on Playstation consoles.  New games lead to new ideas and future ways of playing video games.  When I look at a stuido like Insomniac, with their new Sunset Overdrive game, I see a group of guys that sat down who wanted to make a fun, colorful, funny, and overall enjoyable game.  

THATS what gaming is all about.  Creating new experiences regardless of what gaming device it comes out on.  

Their work is gaming, not their passion.

If I´d have to play games 8 hours a day, and deal with every minor issue the consoles have I would probably be as duchy as those guys.

Game jornalism is losing more and more people that want to have fun. Even "indie" reviewes are getting over the top as analysis (Angry Joe).

We have known Gamespot has been very biased towards it for a while, specially Eddie. Talk about fause inofrmation and over-exaggerations, game journalists do it best and this video continues that trend.  And isnt it odd they make this video when Xbox One is selling well...

Its downright misinformative and bordering on the line of trolling and has no place being on a ''journalist'' website.

Those opinions were hardly subjective and the PS4 must have been mentioned the same amount of times and the xbox one.

No mention of the great games, no mention of the constant UI updates and upgrades. A dismal display of unprofessionalism.

I repeated that to mysey repeatedly during the video.  "These guys are journalists".  Journalists that can't even take the time to figure out an interface my little girl has mastered or figure out how to press the " menu " button on the controller to find...the menu.  It's their job to inform people and yet, they sound like clueless old people trying to program a VCR.

I have an Android phone.  My friend has an iPhone.  I don't like the interface because I never tried to figure it out.  I won't attack it.  I just know I need to spend more time with it.  I wonder what the outtakes were.  That video is like a professional assassination.  The others weren't much better but it's the worst of the lot.

Just with regards to Minecraft. It is extremely unlikely that MS bought MC to bolster their gaming devision. If anything they bought it to have the 50 million users on their portfolio.

Shame that $3billion could not go into increasing their development team. I mean who would choose 2 games exclusive marketing only, to 500 dev team across a few studios for a couple of years, making many exclusive games? It just dosent make sense.

True and Minecraft is not even exclusive to MS consoles... Do they really think that Minecraft 2 will be a big hit? Really not sure where that franchise will go from here...

Now, I don't think publications should be deciding what to send out based on what would piss off advertisers. That's sort of chicken shit, and I don't think them sharing there opinions is wrong either and I'm glad they didn't lie about it for the sake of keeping everyone happy. If they hate the interface then they should say that, I just hope they aren't surprised by the backlash.
