I don't think I've played 10 games this year . . . I still have to play Far Cry and Dragon Age.
I don't think I've played 10 games this year . . . I still have to play Far Cry and Dragon Age.
Since I don't have PS4 or WiiU, I can't comment on those, but I am mighty jealous on Bayonetta 2 and Smash bros.
10. Killer instinct, one of the best fighters I have ever played actually.
9. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, challenging and gorgeous game.
8. NFS, got this through EA access and I like it alot!
7. Ryse, I love the setting, the simple yet sometimes demanding fighting and the graphics are the best I've ever seen.
6. Minecraft, it was years ago I played it last, and the X1 version brought me back.
5. 1001 spikes, man this game is HARD! BUT FUN
4. Sunset overdrive, I so miss the days when the main focus was on FUN, and this brings it all back.
3. Titanfall, this game just keeps improving, the most awesome mp I have had in years.
2. Forza horizon 2, the second greatest racer ever, just behind Sega rally 2 on Dreamcast.
1. MCC, playing through the Halo games in full HD has brought new life into them. Halo will always be among my most treasured games.
1. Monument Valley
2. Valiant Hearts
3. Threes
4. five nights at freddy
.. the rest ill fill in when i finish my december gaming marathon when i have two weeks Of work

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
I can only make this list proper once Christmas rolls around, since I'll be getting about 6 games then. But as it stands:
1. Smash Wii U
2. InFamous: Second Son
3. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
4. Final Fantasy X HD (I'm counting it)
5. Episodes 2-5 of The Wolf Among Us
6. Mario Kart 8
7. Watch_Dogs
8. Smash 3DS
9. DKC: TF (this is low because I've barely played it)
10. Hyrule Warriors
Ill update, but from what i have played this year so far:
1-DKCTF
2-Child of light
3-MK8
4-Kirby 3D
5-Ittle Dew
6-Teslagrad
Man, I just realise i played few games from 2014. I spend mush more time playing 2013 games(zelda ALBW, TLOU, GTAV, dragons crown, rayman legends, mario 3d world, pikmin 3...). And they were better than 2014´s (except DKCTF, that is my favorite game from these 2 years).
I haven't really played a lot of 2014 games but..
(1) NBA 2K15
(2) TLoU: Remastered
(3) Destiny
(4) MGS: Ground Zero
2015 is where its at!
1. Shovel Knight
Only new game I've bought this year
I'll make it short, or else I might write novels about each game.
1. Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS4)
Yes, it is that good. I absolutely loved Origins, and was so disappointed by DA II... But Inquisition actually surprised me a lot, in a good way. Amazing story and sountrack, great characters, beautiful, you can choose wether you want a real challenge or not, there a TONS of stuff to do... I mean, come on. 40 hours in and I'm only halfway through the main story.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is my Game Of The Year 2014.
2. Bravely Default (3DS)
After so many letdowns from Square Enix, I was really desperate for a brand new JRPG worth a buy... And Bravely Default turned out to be that game. All of you Final Fantasy fans should play this. It's brilliant. Great story, great characters, great musics, great gameplay... What else do you want ? Buy it !
3. Child Of Light (PS4)
I actually bought this only for the artwork by Amano in the Collector's Edition (15$). And man what a game. Ubisoft isn't exactly a company I love, but I have to give them credit. This is a pure gem. It's just so pretty and poetic. A must have in my opinion.
4. Super Smash Bros. WiiU (WiiU)
What can I say ? It's freaking Smash Bros. Of course it's awesome. This game is plain perfect. I don't really know what to say, it's simply a blast. In SP and MP. You used to say the WiiU wasn't interesting ? Yeah, you might want to rethink that.
5. Mario Kart 8 (WiiU)
We all know what Mario Kart is. How it plays, how it looks, etc... But yeah, Mario Kart 8 is really good. The best of the MK franchise in my opinion. Some might argue that Nintendo relies too much on old franchises, but hey, if they nail it everytime, why change ? It's still awesome.
6. Super Smash Bros. 3DS (3DS)
It's Smash Bros. On a handheld. Do I really have to say anything more ?
7. inFAMOUS Second Son (PS4)
One of the only PS4 exclusive this year... Kinda sad to say, eh ? But fortunately, it's worth the buy. Insane graphics, insane gameplay, quite challenging at times, nice story (a bit short though)... This game is great. Simply great. It has its flaws, but it has much more qualities. A must buy for PS4 owners.
8. Final Fantasy X Remaster (PS3)
Of course it's in my Top 10 of 2014... FF X is one of my favourite games of all time. I couldn't miss it. And it's quite amazing. 40$, and two complete JRPGs with new mini-games that are actually worth your time (and a few dozens of hours). Nice looking remaster, also, to be honest.
9. Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor (PS4)
This was actually quite a surprise. I didn't expect much from it, but I still gave it a try. And it's really good. There are flaws (the main character, or the story, for example), of course there are, but the overall experience is a blast. A solid GOTY contender in my opinion. Much more than Watch Dogs, Destiny of Call of Duty.
10. Fantasy Life (3DS)
A JRPG x Animal Crossing ? I just had to buy it. And I do not regret that choice. Looks nice, plays nice, a ton of things to do and of places to explore... It's a really soothing experience. No challenge, nothing really epic, it's just cute as hell and plays nicely. I had a lot of fun with that game. About 50h spent and I still haven't entirely finished it.
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.
Why do these threads always get made before the year ends?
I might get a few more games near Christmas & then I'll need time to play them...
