And you are right a near exclusive Xbox franhcise now is Playtation focused this gen.

I think people are over egging this deal.   Its very much a secondary title at this time of year.  It will come and go from the chart very quickly.

 

There has been strong online advertisements for the game (Youtube and on this site it was advertised for days), but I haven't seen any TV ads either, although I don't watch a great deal.

Although I agree it was a 'secondary' game for MS in terms of advertising, it is strange that it has had essentially zero presence on TV

So am I thick, insane or just ignorant? Does this old fool have a point when he ways this shows exclusive advertising helps Sony far more than MS? I could have sworn I saw people explaining away sales of other third party slaes based on the idea it was because of exclusive marketing deals. So which argument is valid: The only reason it sold more on the PS4 is because Sony have an exclusive marketing deal OR marketing deals don't favour Sony?

Fair question I think.

Why besides your personal preference?

If we had Xbox domination, Zombies would roam the earth after a catastrophic nuclear event.

In case of Wii U domination we wouldn't even be alive anymore thanks to the giant meteorite hitting the earth.

That's why PS4 domination is best.

it's funny how WW on next gen Bungie and Bioware depend on playstation for most of their revenue. How times have changed! (AND FOR THE BETTER)

Huge drop for HMCC, wondering if it stayed above 15k units? Huge droppa.

GTA5 numbers must be really huge since both PS4 and XB1 versions make up 99%? Meaning that if last gen ports did 3k combined, the new versions are doing 300k to say the least (combined that is).



...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

So basically, MS bought the exclusive advertising just to stop Sony advertising it. Typical. Didn't work though

You have 5 big smartphone players (just exemples): Apple, Samsumg, LG, Sony and HTC.

Apple got 43% of the market.

What that mean?

The word is used for what it is.


That means 43% is 43%. Is that domination? Domination, in my opinion, is leaving the competition no chance whatsoever and I just don't see it in UKs case. Having bigger numbers is not domination.
