NIntendo? nothing really. 

            It looks like a good game for my son th have to play when I ground him.  The Letter is only good for a few minutes, this has potential :

"Dad I already played for half an hour"

"Well then you only have an hour and a half left then don't you" Gives stern look while son starts to cry...

I love being a parent.

Nintendo maintains control over the developers like the NES era = NINTENDO YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE THAT'S WHY EVERYONE ABANDONS YOU

Nintendo lets developers be, like they do with indies today = NINTENDO WTF IS THIS SHIT, SET UP SOME STANDARDS THIS IS YOUR FAULT

Letting indies set their own standards.

This is what happens when you let any moron who can code publish their game, and why the indie explosion is lowering the quality standards of gaming.

I like the idea of a platformer where the game tries to distract you with crazy shit, but this just looks cheap...

I don t think it is "slipping through",  Nintendo seems to be building a library of more and more App Store type games at App Store type prices on the e shop and quite honestly some of them I don t think would get approved on an App Store they are so bad -  look at The Letter, Little Red Riding Hood, Brick, Broken etc.   It seems the gates are opening for these type games which reLly hurts the legit indies trying to get noticed and fighting for the same dollars - not to mention after buying a few duds like these games, people befin to get gun shy and quit taking risk on lesser known games
