Congrats to Platinum for a 91+ game, Ubisoft for a great game, and of Course 4 Quality Nintendo 1st party games

~Well excluding Ports+Remakes+Indies. (and PC) Lets Analyze this shall we...? 

List of Games with 90+ on Meta this Gen.... All 5 games are on Nintendo platforms! Put that Quality Seal on the industry :P

~93 Super Mario 3D World (WiiU)

~92 Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS)

~91 LoZ A Link Between Worlds (3DS)

~91 Bayonetta 2 (WiiU)

~90 Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)

~90 Rayman Legends (WiiU/Vita/3DS/PS3/X360)

Ironic? Also there is one more game, dunno if it should count. Rayman Legends? It was technically an 8th gen only game but x360+ps3+psv+3ds was also added. If you count tht, thats 6 and the only none Nintendo developed game to hit 90+

this is why nobody takes these sort of threads seriously, if you narrow down the requirements enough you can get any results you want, ports, remakes and indies are still, GASP!, games..

So they have to exclusives, and not remakes/remasters and not indies and not PC games.

That is way too much cherry-picking to take you seriously.

Seems like a great accomplishment! But I think you're missing one or two...

Omg lets add in more Nintendo games (LoZ OoT+LoZ WW HD+Cave Story+Pushmo), 1 Sony 1st party game, and like 3 third party games!!!!

Remakes and especially Ports arent "8th Generation" games, never said they werent games. Indies are arguably, but thats it.

If you guys want to include the remakes, remasters, indies and other stuff, then i guess you guys Should Make A Thread On It.

Anyway, glad to see nintendo doing their best, and i cannot wait for more

Also Non Exclusive is fine, Example Titanfall would of been on this list if it got a 90. As long as its this gen.

Anywayz, i think Bloodborne will be the first Sony exclusive to snag a 90+ this gen, next year ar so many 90+ contenders!!!

Ports and remakes seem like fair game; they're easily rated and often overrated due to stigma(imagine the shitstorm if reviewers dug at TLOU:R), stigma due to nostalgia and social media but I digres.

PC games and Indies are legit and need to be accounted for.  To be honest that would help the OP's - who is obviously pro Nintendo - argument: "indies and whoever made the PC games that are 90+ are better at the metacritic thingy than Sony and MS!"
